MAIN CHARACTERS

• Khadijah Nasir: fifteen years old, very emotional and caring. She's dark skinned. Her father's death leaves her devastated and she's lucky to have a friend and family that love and care for her. She's optimistic and tries all she can to achieve her dreams.

• Hadiza Nasir: A devout muslimah and a caring mother in her late 30's. Light skinned.

• Maryam Nasir: Khadijah's sister. The second daughter of the Nasir family. Dark skinned. She's thirteen. Stubborn and annoying

• Hauwa Nasir: The third daughter of the Nasir family. Eleven. Light skinned. Hardworking, committed, caring and a really serious minded person.

• Aisha Nasir: The fourth daughter of the Nasir family. Nine. Light skinned. Elder twin sister to Fatima.

• Fatima Nasir: The fifth daughter of the Nasir family. Light skinned. Twin sister to aisha.

• Hassana Abubakar : The second child of her parents and the only daughter,light skinned. Fifteen. intelligent,caring. She tries her best to help Khadijah heal from her father's death and she's ready to do anything to help her. She's educated unlike Khadijah.

• Idris Muhammad : A wealthy commissioner who can do anything possible to get whatever he wants even if it means putting someone else's life on the line.65. He is already married to four wives and blessed with 12 children.

A/N: AMARIYA means bride 👰🏽 in hausa, for those who don't know. You'll soon know the story behind the title 😉
