Yes, I said okay to the alliance because I never felt an instant bond with anyone like I hold with Atharvaa. The way he gave importance to me, his honesty, and the way he showed enthusiasm in knowing about me dispersed all my fear about this marriage thing.

I got panicked when Bhabhi informed me that they want to perform a small ritual promptly, and as these are all happening so fast, I was a little conscious about it. But, the way Atharvaa comforted me and stated my decision matters the most, I got relaxed and got a hundred percent assurance on my decision.

Everybody in my family started to tease me about how I said okay instantly to marriage, how Atharvaa and I shared a talk in the ritual, and the way I'm looking at Atharvaa.

Really, did I looked at Atharva like my favorite chocolate??

Seriously?? Chocolate Khushi???

The next day when I turned on my mobile, there was a message from an unknown number, and it's an HI message from Atharvaa with his name mentioned.

When will you learn to charge your phone on time, Khushi?? What he may have thought??

Stopping my brain from overthinking, instantly, I replied Good morning and a sorry message to him. Completing my morning routine, I joined everybody at breakfast.

"Khushi, today we are going to approach the priest for your engagement and marriage dates." Mom informed me to know my opinion.

"Mumma, why so early??? Why you guys determined to send me off shortly??" I whined to Mom with a pout. Mom about to say something at the same time, my phone pinged with a message notification, and it is a message from Atharvaa stating the.

Good morning, beautiful with a smiley emoticon.

No, no, no.... you can't blush in front of everyone, but I know my cheeks betrayed me as everyone checking me as I got two horns on my head. Karthik Bhai snatched my phone and went through the message by blocking me.

"Mom, I'm telling you, fix the dates as early as possible before anything could happen." Bhai said in-between of his laughs.

"Don't you have a privacy word in your dictionary Bhai???" I asked, snatching back my phone from him.

"Oh, I don't know, my little Choti became Bade in one day and started to talk about privacy." He said with a smirk, and I blushed.

"Who sent the message?" Mom asked impatiently.

"No one, I'm getting late to the hospital. So I will leave." With that, I sprang to go to the hospital, but not before listening as everybody burst into a laugh.

Oh god, it's so embarrassing ...

Today the day went unusually faster with a lot of appointments. Around five, I received a call from reception saying that I have a visitor, and he is waiting for me for the last 15minutes, but when I reached out, I met with an unpredicted person.

What is he doing here and that too at this time???

Today my mood was sore, and I couldn't concentrate clearly on my work. I was happy when Khushi sent a Good morning and sorry message for not responding yesterday as her phone battery was off. In excitement, I send a message, to which I'm regretting it till now.

She is not one of your dates, for god's sake, Atharvaa. she is your fiancee, and you started flirting with her the next day. What she may be thinking about your character and Beautiful seriously?? We decided to take this slow and give her time to adjust, but No, you have to spoil all the plans, my internal mind taunted me, making me more guilty.

"Oh, someone is not in a good mood??" Karan asked while entering the office.

"Just office things. What are you doing here at this time ??" I questioned, trying to divert the topic.

"There was some work nearby, so I thought, to meet you and talk with you as you got busy these days. Not even a call man??" he contoured with a rise of an eyebrow.

"Okay, shoot what you want to ask??" I said, knowing that I can't escape from these guys.

"We listened that you said okay for marriage??" he started his questioning.

"Yes, I went to meet her yesterday and got settled quickly, as we both said okay for this proposal." I said, with a blank expression, even my inner self is grinning.

"Seriously, Dude, you said okay immediately for an arranged marriage it's unbelievable, and who is that unlucky girl who has to bear this egoistic person." Karan said with a shocking expression, but I glared at him to shut his mouth.

I showed him the picture in which we both are sitting on the couch together. Shonu captured this yesterday during the ritual.

"I have seen her somewhere... Yeah, the same girl with whom you collided at Holi, right??" he asked with an 'I know this would happen' expression.

"Yeah, and it's a kind of coincidence." I faltered.

"Really??? Okay, I believe if you say so, but I have to share this with Viren before my stomach would explode, and congrats Man. You both are great pair, and she is very beautiful," adding that he went away, not even bother to listen to me anymore.

I smiled, listening to his last comment, but soon it has vanished, remembering what I did this morning.

Unable to handle this anymore, I decided to go to the hospital where she is working so I can speak with her and clarify the mess I created. Soon I reached the hospital, and about to go inside but halted in my way, witnessing the scene in front of me.

Control, Atharva...control

Fuck!!!
