Chapter 40: Samaritan and Revenge

Ace's Bond PoV,

AS I OPEN my eyes, the bright light coming from the sun touches my eyes, making me narrowed my eyesight. I admit,  i don't remember anything at all.

"Ate, where are we?" I ask my sister. I tried to release my hand from the rope but it didn't work. Masyadong mahigpit ang pagkakatali ng lubid sa pulso namin.

"H-hindi ko alam, Ace. A-all...I know is...is they're--- they're a goons! M-may mga baril...sila!" She's stuttering. "A-ayoko p...pang mamatay, Ace! I don't wanna die yet!" I used my butt to move and get close to my sister.

I'm afraid, not for myself but for my sister.

Damn it! They'll pay once I release my fucking self here!

I tried to remember what happened. Then memories hit my head like a thunder.  Niyaya ako ni ate Icy na samahan siya papunta sa mall. We spent our time together. 10 in the morning ng maisipan naming umuwi. We walk toward the parking lot then may bigla nalang huminto na black van. Pina-amoy nila si Ate ng panyo din she lost her consciousness, I tried to save her from the unfamiliar guy but someone injected something on me and then I lost my consciousness too.

May humawak saming dalawa ni Ate at kinaladkad palabas. My jaw suddenly drop when I see where we are.

"Bakit mo ba ginagawa ito?"

Napatingin ako sa pinanggaligan ng sigaw. Si Fia. Umiiyak. I suddenly feel pity on her pero nanaig ang galit ko dahil sa ginawa niya sa birthday ko. For the sake of our friendship! Sinira niya iyon! She kiss Khanz during my birthday and for the freaking record, she's Spade's girl! Sinira niya tiwala namin sa kaniya! Kaya bakit ako maawa sa ginawa niya? She made our life miserable than ever!

I didn't greet her on her special day.

Tumawa ang lalaking may ngalan na Kristoper batay sa narinig ko kanina. "I love seeing you hurt. Ms. Karizou. Now, for the thrill of the show. I'll count 5 to 1 and when the times up. You have to choose one to save, while I'll kill the remaining one."

I swallow the lump on my throat. Is this the end of my life?!

"5..."

Please, Fia. Just save my sister!

"3..."

"Sandali lang! Pipili na ako!" Sigaw ni Fia.

"Who's the lucky one?" Tanong ni Kristoper.

Ngumiti sa'kin si Fia ng malungkot na ikinalusaw ng galit ko. Paano ko nagawang magalit sa isang maamong kuting? Why do I have to be mad at her? When in fact, she's our savior.

"I'll choose them both. Ako nalang ang patayin mo. End my life. Wala na akong kuwenta sa mundo, they already take my parents. My friends already hated me. Kaya ako nalang."

My tears suddenly fall. "Fia! No!" I really hate her but I don't want her to die! Hindi puwede! Bullshit!

"Alright then." Kristoper said while pointing the gun to Fia's heart.

I closed my eyes when I heard the loud sound.

"Fia!" I and my sister shouted when Fia's mouth retch a red liquid. Hinawakan niya kung nasaan banda ang puso niya at nahulog siya sa dagat.
