"Mutt"
I closed my door. I moved my chair for Jacob. I sat on the bed.
"What's up Jacob?"
"Thought you would like to go for a run." He said smiling
"She can't, she has broken ribs." Edward said sitting down next to me.
"I know."
"Edward,he wants to hang out with out you. Which is okay." I said
"What?" Edward asked turning to me
"He my friend." I said
Edward pov.
Jacobs mind was very loud. He kept putting Samantha naked on the bed.To be honest I like to do the same but minus Jacob. I knew he hated me. But he loved Samantha. I saw what he saw when he imprinted.Samantha older and happy. I knew he would day dream of my death and samantha running to his arms. I knew samantha would never do that.Samantha was talking about how she fixed jacobs bike.I smiled. She was proud of herself I didn't have to read her mind well I couldn't but I was happy for her.I checked her clock. I heard her stomach.
"I am hungry, you hungry?" She asked getting up
"Sure I can eat." Jacob said smiling
"Alright I see what we have." She said leaving.
Why is he still here?
"To make sure you behave." I said frowning
"She doesn't need a babysitter."
"You do"
"Scared she actually have fun?' he smiled
"Jacob?!" I heard
"Time to do something that you never you do Eat her food." He said
I walked down with him. She cooked eggs and some kind of white stuff.
"Whats that?" Jacob asked
"Grits. " She said mixing jelly into hers.
"I got to go." I said
She smiled and stood up.She hugged and kissed me.
"I see you later, I'm mostly going to try and stay home." She said walking me to the door.
I kissed her again.
"Be careful." I said
"I know how to handle jacob." She smiled
I looked into her eyes.
"I know I trust you not him."
She rolled her eyes and put her hand on her hip."I know.i going to chill and beat him at video games and until he goes home crying with his tail between his legs."
I laughed. I went home and I arrived to Alice and Jasper playing a card game.
"Hey Edward,how's Samantha?"
"Good.jacobs visiting."
She stopped smiling and stood up putting her cards down
"We need to talk."
She began explaining how she can't see much because of Jacob and she doesn't like him getting close. I assured it it will be fine. I watched as emse came in with snacks for Samantha.
"Hey Edward" she said smiling
"Hey"
She stopped smiling"what's wrong?"
"Samantha hanging out Jacob, her grandma making her."
"Her grandma making sure Samantha might have more friends." She said
I nodded." If she hanged out with just you she be alienate herself from the other humans." She said grabbing my hand
I knew everyone loved her beside rosalie.
"Hey bro." Emmet came in
"Hey"
"Samantha here?" He asked
"No"
"Oh" he said walking away.
"Samantha has everyone here if she needs them." She said
"I can't make her -"
"Your willing to let her get old and miss out hoping to have her in your life and you in hers to watch her get sick and die?"
I didn't think of it.
Months went by. Prom was close and Samantha was finally healed.
