CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN. A FIERCE BATTLE.

Start from the beginning

Shand smiled at him as he let out his royal halo and an intense bright colour enveloped his body, the yellow aura penetrated the green aura that was beginning to flood the area around them.
As the two halos met they let out sparks of magic waves, struggling for domination over the other.
Revard, Eustin and even Aaron shivered at the feeling of the halo from their enemy, Unlike Aroar, who was unaffected by it.
The two auras shook violently before they nullified each other. The moment the magic waves dispersed Satara took action at the same time his enemy did. Both disappeared from their spots and met head on when their bodies reappeared at the centre, a sword and a hand clashing against each other. Satatra clenched his left hand and threw a punch aiming at his enemy. Shand cuaght his punch with his one hand while using his other hand to block the sword. He added force onto the hand within his palm, exerting enough force that could crush even bones. Satatra nullified the force directed at his hand using his halo, as he did this, his entire palm was letting out a whoos~ sound, draping the two entangled hands with green magic.

Crack!

The sound of breaking bones could be heard as the two people refused to let the other person's hand go. Satatra threw his sword up, took it back with his hand then thrusted it forward once again. Shand blocked this thrust using his fingers, the tip of the sword aimed at him caught in between his middle and index finger. The sword caught in between his fingers shook violently. Satatra withdrew his blade. Then attacked once again.
The two people caught up in this fierce battle kicked their legs at the same time, their legs clashed against each other, letting out sparks as if two bladeds were meeting.

Boom!

Both of them were pushed back by the momentum of their calshing auras that exploded aggresively.

Alfru watched the battle wide eyed. He should be glad that he was being ignored by both parties. Afterall, he did not knew a thing about fighting. The guards accompanying him stood before him, making a stance of protection.
The royal uncle of the prince was fighting a man well versed in wielding the blade, he was probably a general. While on the other side, a feminine looking boy was battling with a robust man. Alfru did not knew the two peope he was thinking about were prominent figures just like the crown prince. One was Adu, the brother of General Adulle. And the other was Tharta, the leader of the ethnic races. Thinking so he moved his line of sight towards the boy he wanted to befriend.
Hitomu was standing side by side with a man who had blue eyes. Aflru knew that this man was the first prince rumoured to kill the previous king. And also the leader of the Black knight organisation. Zarad stared at the familiar man across on the other side.
He wanted to rush to him and stab his heart, crack his head, then feed him to the magical beasts. But he was reluctant to leave Hitomu's side. Afterall he never knew when the boy would rush to interfere with the ongoing battle. Zarad was aware that there was a connection between Hitomu and Shand, a connection he did not knew about and this made him feel uneasy. He frowned.
Subconsciously he grabbed the other person's hand, interwining his fingers with Hitomu's, holding onto firmly as if afraid of the hand slipping away from his.
Hitomu flinched a bit at his touch. He looked up at Zarad who had his eyes focused on a man across the other side.
It was the small villain who had killed the original soul, the same villain appointed by King Satt who had assisted the late king in murdering Zarad's mother.

"You can beat him till he is barely breathing. But don't kill him yet. Not for today." He whispered into Zarad's ears causing the other to tremble. Hitomu did not like the idea of Zarad dancing to the original script. Although the location and setting was different, today was supposed to be the day when Zarad would hunt down that man across them and kill him, skinning him alive and feeding it to the wild beasts.

The killing intent in his heart was immediately replaced by ecstacy, even the tip of his ears blsuhed. Just a little bit of attention from the boy was enough to send his soul on nine cloud.
Hitomu, who had a keen vision saw the tips of Zarad's ear blush red. He was stunt for a moment. Seeing this his eyes couldn't help but soften.

Just how much did he crave for his attention?

Zarad nodded his head as he said. "What about you? Will you fight him again?"

"The next time you see him you can kill him. As for your question, I will spar with him for a bit.. Afterall, he is stronger than everyone present here, excluding me." As he replied he glanced at the situation on the other side.
Zarad was reluctant to move away from him.

"Go. And relieve your stress on that man. Also, don't worry about me." He reassured him then added. "I am stronger than him."

Zarad looked at him deeply before he finally left for the other side.
The moment he turned his head his eyes were ladden with a profound darkness, a glint of madness, sharp and ruthless flashing in his fierce eyes.

Hitomu chuckled. He clearly felt the change of attitude in him. He took off his mask.

"You. Fight me." A voice interrupted the ongoing battle between Satatra and Shand.

Shand just happened to raise his head at the direction of the voice when he felt a firm hand cover his vision.
Hitomu grabbed him by his face and sprinted a few yards away, while doing so he clenched his hand onto the face caught in his palm, adding force that made the face underneath frown.

Crack!

Hitomu smashed Shand's head directly onto the ground. A dent instantly appeared on the ground, the ground cracked and the momentum of this attack made the crack spread like braches of trees elongating on it.
The body that was slammed down got up in an instant. He then aimed a kick towards the person who had dared to slam him down. The force of his entire body was directed at the tip of his heel that came crushing down at Hitomu's head.
He stopped the kick with his arm and elbowed the heel aimed at his head lightly.

Crack! Crack!

The sound of breaking bones was once again heard.
Although Hitomu had elbowed lightly the power it held was beyond normal.
Not giving a chance to fix his cracked bones Hitomu raised his own leg, taking the same stance that Shand had used to attack him, the only difference being the place of attack.
Diverting all the strength he could gather he directed them at his knee then thrusted at Shand's vital point of his stomach. The blow came in so hard and powerful that the impact of his jabbing created waves that travelled the length and breadth of the battle arena, aka, the garden.

Everyone turned their heads at a direction and watched a spectecular  sight unfold.

Baam! Baam! Baam!

Shand was sent flying back. He crushed onto a wall. The wall crashed but it did not kill the momentum of the attack. He crahsed onto a second wall then third then fourth until he was out at the streets as he crashed onto a shop as a final roll.

Adulle widened his eyes.
He never thought there existed somone who could stand against their crown prince in terms of power.
But here was one before him who had sent their prince flying back meters. That too, just with one attack!
