"Yes of course, just a little bit of wine under the moonlight?" And Taehyung couldn't disagree with his demand.

After a while they were on Taehyung's balcony, staring at the city lights under the gleam of moonlight.

They were standing next to each other, elbows against the one metre high wall of the balcony.

The two sipped the wine together, the cake finished a while ago, tasted so delicious and worth the efforts Jungkook made in shaking their bodies like an earthquake.

Jungkook was staring at Taehyung while sipping leisurely while the blonde was watching the moon joyously.

"Isn't it beautiful?" He asked and Jungkook hummed, staring at his luminous face.

Taehyung turned to face him, smiling and gesturing him to cheer again and Jungkook slightly hit his glass with Taehyung's as they gulped down the left over drink together.

"Tae…" Jungkook spoke, catching Taehyung's attention.

"You still didn't answer me."

"About what?"

"Am I still neighbour-zoned?" Jungkook asked seriously but Taehyung laughed at him instead.

Jungkook frowned, not getting why he laughed.

"You pabo, you wouldn't be here standing beside me if I would neighbour zoned you." Taehyung's words lightened up Jungkook.

"Oh yes. You're right. So what am I to you?" Jungkook asked, leaning over to Taehyung's side who smiled and looked away.

"What? What is it?" Jungkook asked desperately.

"A friend?"

"Just a friend?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Why? You don't wanna be friends? Should I neighbour-zone you again?"

And Jungkook shook his head.

"You are too hard to get Taehyung." Jungkook smiled dreamily, staring at him with heart eyes.

"I wonder how you are still single." Jungkook said.

"Why?"

"Look at yourself. You're too good to be true. Now tell me honestly how many hearts you have broken because this attitude, damn, there must be a reason." Jungkook confessed and Taehyung's smile dropped.

Taehyung looked down, smiling sadly and staring into space.

"Broke hearts? Me?" Taehyung chuckled bitterly and Jungkook's gaze turned into soft ones.

"Tae… wanna talk about it?" Jungkook asked, his hand holding Taehyung's as he looked at him with a sincere gaze, ready to hear it all.

"Hey, you can share." Jungkook assured after watching tears on the edges of Taehyung's eyes.

"I wish I had broken his heart, at least he could have felt the pain he gave me…" Taehyung began, his voice filled with pain.

"Who?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung smiled bitterly.

"Son of a bitch, fucking cheater."

"Your ex?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung nodded shortly.

"Let's not talk of that bastard, I'm over him." Taehyung said and smiled widely to hide his pain of past memories.

"Did he cheat you?"

Taehyung's smile faded away as Jungkook asked, somehow breaking the ravenette's heart.

"Okay let's not talk if you don't want to but let me tell you one thing. You deserve a lot better. I'm glad you're over him." Jungkook said words of comfort, melting Taehyung's heart whose eyes were pooling with tears.

"Hey…" Jungkook instantly pulled him in a hug and Taehyung began weeping on his shoulder.

He wasn't crying for his ex, he was crying out of overwhelming joy because he has people in his life that support him and make him feel better and who cherish him.

Jungkook was now one of them.

Jungkook hugged his small waist tightly, bringing him closer, whispering words of comfort to calm him down and Taehyung had snaked his arms around his neck, drowning in the intoxicating scent of the other.

His sniffles started fading away and Jungkook knew he was fine but he still rubbed Taehyung's back and his magical embrace made all of Taehyung's sadness blow away. He just didn't want to break the hug.

That day he found how much of a magical embrace Jungkook had to comfort him during all the hard times.

"You're okay?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung decided to break the hug before he would get used to it.

He didn't face Jungkook and silently stared in the other direction.

"Where's my sassy neighbour? I bet I like him more. Now will I get him back?"

"Do you bleach your teeth? 'Cause your smile lights up the entire night like a moon in the dark. Let's go prove it." Jungkook threw one of his pick up lines and Taehyung couldn't help but smile widely, jokingly hitting his chest.

"Dork."

"Yes like that." The two laughed together and Jungkook succeeded in making the other one smile. Taehyung literally forgot about someone that broke his heart.

"Thank you, again'' Taehyung whispered and Jungkook acknowledged it with a small nod.

The two of them had a very great time together that they didn't realise how many hours passed away.

Jungkook checked his wrist watch, watching how the clock was about to strike eleven.

"Ah, I think I should leave. It's almost eleven." Jungkook excused and Taehyung also checked his clock.

"Ah yeah… I didn't even realise."

"Yeah… see you tomorrow then." Jungkook said and Taehyung nodded.

"I'll walk you to the door."

The two walked to the door together and Taehyung opened it for Jungkook.

"Thank you for dinner again. I had a great time with you."

"Thanks for coming, Jungkook, I had a great time with you too."

"Good night." Jungkook greeted him and took a step back.

"Wait." Taehyung called, resisting Jungkook from leaving.

"Yeah?" And then a pair of lips smooched Jungkook's cheek, leaving him surprised.

Taehyung's one hand held his other cheek gently as he put his tender lips on another cheek to show his gratitude and affection towards the other which directly sent him to cloud nine.

"Good night." Taehyung greeted after pulling away, stepping back with a playful smile and before Jungkook could say anything he shut the door.

Jungkook punched the air again and smiled like a fool, shaking his head out of disbelief and touching his cheek.

"Ah what is happening to me?"

Well, you are head over heels for your neighbour, Mr. Jeon Jungkook.
