"maddy? cassidy?" i spun around and my eyes met with jacks. 

"no fucking way," i gasped and he smiled as i ran over and jumped into his arms,

"i missed you." i mumbled into him.

"me too."  i moved over so cassie could hug him, the pogues walked over, wondering who the blonde boy my sister was hugging was. until he pulled away,

"oh my god, is that jack?" asked kiara 

"kie!" he said and they hugged while the other pogues gave us a weird look.

"hey i'm jack." he said walking to the  pogues "cassie and maddison's brother."

"i didn't know you had a brother." pope said 

"yeah, i haven't really been around since my dad kicked me out." 

"ah." john b said

"jj." he said holding out his hand

"nice to meet you." jack responded,

"and this is john b and pope." i told him and they waved,

i looked at cassie and remembered that she was really upset,

"do you guys wanna get out of here?" i asked 

"yes please." cass said and started to walk out

"we can go to our house." i said "dad's probably gonna be here for a while longer." they nodded and we got into our car's.

we pulled into the house and me and kiara got some beer's and food and went upstairs to meet everyone in my room

"here ya go."i said handing out drinks and snacks,

"so." jack said taking a sip of his beer "whats new?"

"yeah, lots." i said 

"like...?" 

"maddy has a boyfriend!" cassie blurted

"cassie!" i scolded,

"who is it?" asked jack

"erm," i traced my eyes to jj,

"him?" jack asked, and we both nodded

"cool." he said

"that's it?" cassie asked

"what do you mean?" jack said confused,

"your not gonna be pissed that she has a boyfriend or anything?"

"i haven't exactly been brother of the year  so yeah it's cool." he leaned over to jj and whispered kind of loudly

"hurt her and i'll kick your ass maybank." jj nodded cooly

"shut up jack!" i laughed,

we all hung out for a while until we got tired and everyone fell asleep in different places, jj in my bed, kiara on my couch, john b and pope in the guest room with twin beds, and cassie was in her room. me and jack were in the kitchen talking.

"so did anything else happen?" he asked more seriously

"uh, yeah. it did." i said quietly

"care to elaborate?"

"well, dad got a lot worse-" he sighed

"like how much worse?"

"i don't know jack, how much worse do you think?" i snapped

"sorry"

"whatever. it's fine." i said and took a puff of my vape

"okay anything else?" 

"not really. you better not leave again." i said to him and he rolled his eyes

"you know i had no choice, im staying now for you cass and lucy."
