Pervis was waiting for his girlfriend, in 1987, he saw that her neighbors had been brutally attacked and tried to help deal with the scene, when the police arrived they assumed it was him who had committed the crime.
he was put in jail and now, three decades later still remains on death row.
he is currently living with an intellectual disability, and has no prior crime record.
he's execution date is april 9th.
