Cecil was back in the elemental world, and she panted heavily. There was a deep frown present on her forehead that was glistening with sweat, her eyes focused on two large gates in front of her.
 
“I...I don’t understand, there should only be one…” she mused softly to herself. “How are there two gates? Which one am I supposed to open?”

Cecil nodded to herself. The reason why this book stood out, despite its messy and flawed plotline was because of the “powers” the author implemented into the book. It wasn’t like the mediocre cultivation methods, but rather, elemental powers that can grow in different directions according to how a character utilises their powers. 

Unfortunately, this also led to power imbalance and even more confusing plotholes that once again, the author did not bother to fix. 

Of course, there was a huge difference in the elemental powers between the mortal realm, and the heavenly and demon realm. However, the same rule applied to every realm. 

“If I followed according to the author’s logic, I would be able to catch a glimpse of the powers if I touched the gates and not push them open.”

Cecil inhaled deeply, taking a step forward and approaching the door on the right, raising her palm up and pressing against the door. In an instant, dozens of images invaded her mind and she withdrew a few seconds later.
 
“That seems to be the core part of the earth element. Where one would be able to summon out golems made from the earth itself, and grow even more capable of making huge and complicated structures out of the ground.” 

All of a sudden, a thought occurred to Cecil. 

“Wait a second, isn’t this similar to...Yelena’s powers? The lackey that Veau himself killed by...beheading?”

“This part of the gate revolves more around plants and nature. There...is not much difference compared to how I am using it right now. Attacking with vines, and accelerating the growth of the plants and herbs I find.”
