"Shawn!" Camila gasped at the sight of her tall brunette.

"Son, you're here finally!" Mark Lockwood chimed in. But suddenly his expression changed from one of pure joy and excitement to one of horror as he felt the cold metal on his head.

"Woah! What are you doing? Son there's no time for sick jokes." Mark said accompanying his words with an awkward forced laugh.

"Sick joke right that's what you think people's lives are a sick joke!....You thought I would be in this plan of yours to perform a killing spree of innocent lives. Even if I don't remember a thing from my past I knew and I'm fucking proud that I won't ever be like you!" Shawn bitterly spat.

"What are you talking about? Innocent! This is the man that killed your beloved mother." Once those words left his mouth Shawn pushed the gun a little more causing him to wince. He couldn't believe this man, how can someone be such a manipulative liar bitch.

"You killed my mother!" He angrily yelled as Camila covered her mouth with her hand in shock as the realisation of what he just admitted hit her.

"What are you talking about son-"

"Don't fucking call me that! I'm a Mendes by blood and by heart." Shawn said.

"Cody what are you waiting for press the damn button!" Mark yelled at Cody when he realised there was no way out for him left now.

In seconds dozens of armed men entered the room and what Mark didn't even had seen in his worst nightmares came true as he realised all the guns had been pointed at him, Cody and all of his men who knew what really his plan was.

"Suprise!" Alejandro said snatching the gun pointed at his forehead and turning the tables completely for Mark by pointing it at his forehead.

"You really thought you could take us down? Well I have to say this boy raised himself exceptionally well." Alejandro said looking at Shawn his eyes full of pride.

"What? You knew about this!" Sinu Cabello asked as all the other members looked at the pair completely dumbfounded.

"Yes I knew about all this honey but there's other important things to handle at the moment." Alejandro said as he looked back up directly in the eyes of Mark Levy.

"Shawn. You should have this shot, he took the life of the most important women in a person's life and I think you truly deserve to kill him with your hands and get your revenge." Alejandro said nodding proudly at the brave brunette.

"No sir. I don't want revenge but I don't want to see him breathe any longer." Shawn said as he took a step back away from his so called stepfather and looked away.

In split seconds, several loud violent gunshots were heard as Mark's body fell to the ground with a loud thud. Shawn locked his eyes with Camila's and he just silently hoped that she could feel what he couldn't say in the moment just with his eyes and as a tear slipped down her eyes and she subsequently nodded with a smile he knew she could.

They did some serious arrangements about the dead body, about convincing and keeping an eye on Cody without unnecessarily using violence to get him on the track and now as Shawn and Alejandro stood beside Camila and Sinu they knew they had some serious explaining to do.

"So..." Camila and Sinu said at the same time and Alejandro looked at Shawn signalling him to go first.

"Okay so, when we met" he said looking at Camila " I didn't have any idea who were really because I had lost my memories which I know Aliyah had already filled you in how. So, when I saw you I don't knew how but I instantly knew that I had some connection with you and literally you are just so beautiful." He said warmly smiling at her as he could see her cheeks getting a shade of crimson red.

" But then Mark told me this fake story about how your dad killed my mom and how you were my enemy and I had to use you to get information and bullshit like that but I didn't wanted to use someone to get your way and specially you so I had never that in mind."

"But what about that day what you said to Leila." Camila said as she cut him off.

"Patience babe. I'm getting there." Shawn said as Camila mouthed a sorry blushing at hearing the words babe.

"So, then we worked together and all and I tried to distract myself and not feel things which I felt for you but it was useless and then that day seeing you dancing with that guy I couldn't control myself anymore so I confessed that I love you and I didn't lied even though I didn't remember anything about you or us at that time I still eventually feel in love with you." He said smiling at her like a complete idiot.

"So you know what happened after that-" Shawn looked down embarrassed as Alejandro awkwardly cleared his throat making it clear he didn't wanted any details of their naked escapades.

"So, when I think the fourth day of when we technically got back together I was going to talk to Mark about some important issues related to the gang but I stopped on my tracks when I heard him and Cody talk about the Cabello's were stupid as they really thought he would make an alliance with them. Honestly I was curious so I heard the whole interaction and then I knew what his real plan was and how the men we spotted that day were all his men. He also talked to Cody about his concern of his plan getting spoiled because he thought that I was the one who was falling in love with you and in the end I would save you because I love you."

He took a deep breath before starting again, " My thoughts were all over the place and I didn't knew what to think and I wanted to know what you knew about the whole situation but in the way I was thinking too much and not really seeing so well my car hit an old tree and my head hit the steering wheel. I just had a minor internal injury but someone had called the ambulance and called Aliyah as well as she was the most recent person I had contacted. Through the whole way to the hospital I felt like I was both unconscious and concious at the same time as slowly I could see blurry images in my head and hear hushed voices which in a few moments converted into clear images and it felt like I was living my life again and all those moments with my dad, mom, you, Aliyah, Brian which I had forgotten about lit up my dark world with a flashlight. And I'm so so grateful to be standing here in front of the most fascinating woman, the woman I love. Yes I know I'm interrupting the story but let me say this."

"I love you so much Camila, more than you could ever know." He smiled at her as her eyes lit up.

" I love you too, so much." Camila said before connecting their lips together in what felt like forever.
