Girlfriend?

It had been a little less than two weeks since they had kissed in the empty classroom. And still they were kind off stuck at the same spot, they knew they were definitely more than friends, friends don't kiss like they do and they both are well aware of how much they like each other and the attraction god, it's like they are the opposite poles of a damn magnet, they just get drawn to one another.

They both were scared to death about these feelings, they knew what could happen but it was like they couldn't stop it but maybe it was time of their lives to blur some lines and break some rules. They were determined that there was no one who could ever make their heart leap out of their chest and at the same time calm it down like no one could.

Shawn had tried to supress his feelings and ignore his heart, but he knew there was no resistance in the world that could stop him from going after her, she was his light in the dark he was living in for so long. She made things easier even when they weren't, she made his world do a happy dance by just a smile. He had never been this happy in the past ten years of his life as he was now. It was like she made all his problems and worries mele away just by existing. And above all he knew in his heart everything meant nothing if he couldn't have her.

"Wow, I'm telling there's no way we're not getting an A, I'll sue them if we don't." Camila said in a serious tone and burst out in fits of giggles. She always said sue you or sue them in such a dramatic and comical way that it could even make a stone laugh. What stone laugh? Are you out of your mind Shawn. Anyways we had finished our second assignment and we were left adoring our little baby..wait...did I just thought our little baby? What is wrong with you Mendes???.

So, even though I have enough time to ask her as our last assignment is still pending but I just can't see boys hitting on her everyday in front of my damn eyes. Everytime my hands clench into fists and this weird energy forms in my body and I can take every single of them down, thanks to my so called father, but I have no rights to tell them she's off limits. So, I know I have to ask her as soon as possible.

"So, what do you wanna do now?" Camila asked raising her eyebrows.

"Let's go out. I'll take you to a nice place." I responded.

"And what's the name of that place?"

"C'mon Camila, I'm not telling you that."

"Aye aye captain!!" She enthusiastically replied, saluting me. She is such an adorable dork. God, I love her....wait wait wait what no no no I don't love her....I don't love her right?

"Hey c'mon get your ass moving." Camila giggled.
You are long gone Mendes, long gone.

"C'mon don't do this....tell me Shawn. Tell me where are we going."

"Shushh just two minutes, I promise we're very close."

I entered the big iron double doors as Camila squealed upon realising where they were.

"Yayy I love these drive in theaters, thank you." She said as he parked the car at a nice spot.

They got out and grabbed four pillows, two blankets and some snacks before cuddling back in the car trunk. The notebook, which was Camila's utter favourite was playing as she cuddled further more in his arms. His smell was intoxicating, his arms warm and inviting, she felt safe in his arms like he was her home.

"Wow....thank you Shawn for today really I don't remember when was the last time I had this much fun."

Shawn smiled up at her before replying, "Honestly, even I don't remember the last time I was really this happy and literally I don't wanna admit but damn you're cool."

He said it intentionally in an weird accent at which Camila rolled her head back in laughter. He reached over and took her hand in his, as she looked at him a smile forming on her soft pink lips.

"Um Camila...um..I -I......will you be my girlfriend?" He stuttered nervously. Camila gasped slightly upon hearing those words, honestly she wasn't prepared for this she didn't think he was girlfriend type so whose words were like a shock to her core.

"Um right sorry I shouldn't have-" Camila cut him off as she smashed her lips on his in what can only be defined as one hell of a kiss. They pulled away, only when it felt like they couldn't breathe anymore. Blush crept upon both their cheeks as they smiled like idiots.

"I definitely will be your girlfriend." She said as she connected their lips again in a sweet kiss that warmed both their souls.
