Though he did nothing, he had his men to work but yes he was damn tired of instructing them.

Jungkook yawned, stretching his arms and dropping on his couch, scrolling through the phone and checking messages left by his father.

"Where are you son? Sorry I couldn't talk to you, I was trying to collect myself to face you after what happened."

Jungkook chuckled, his father had no idea who he was dating his son's ex.
And Jungkook wasn't even going to let him know, deciding not to bother in his father's relationship. But he was forgetting that he was his father's only son and that he had all the rights to express himself and state what was right.

Jungkook slid his phone into his pockets. Now getting up to walk out of his apartment to freshen up his mind.

He walked into the gallery, looking around and wondered if he would be able to survive there.

"Seems suffocating but better no one would at least bother me here."

He then turned around, finding himself standing in front of apartment no. 87.

"Oh, so this is probably my nearest neighbour." Jungkook whispered, smiling at how their doors were just inches apart.

Suddenly he turned around as he heard the elevator's sound. Someone walked out of the elevator and gasped as soon as he saw the handsome ravenette.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE? ARE YOU SERIOUSLY STALKING ME?"

Taehyung screamed and rushed to his side, peering at Jungkook with a doubtful gaze who just whistled and checked Taehyung up and down.

"Wow, I didn't expect to see you again. Oh well, Hi and how's Lily, ask her to come out for coffee someday." Jungkook laughed, testing Taehyung's patience.

"Fuck you, don't mention my Lily and the hell you are doing here?"

"Well, I literally live here."

"Live here?"

"Yes, residence of apartment no. 86. Nice to see you, Mr. Neighbour." Jungkook said casually, stretching his hand for Taehyung to shake who yeeted it away.

"What? You are my neighbour? But what happened to Mrs. Senon? She used to live here." Taehyung asked, voice laced with disbelief.

He was actually close to his old neighbour auntie who used to live with her pets that Taehyung personally adored but she left, without letting him know? He felt so bad.

"Well, don't know about her, she might have shifted away but yes, I am indeed your neighbour." Jungkook whispered, leaning over Taehyung who stepped back.

"Distance. Or else I won't hesitate throwing my hands on you."

"Easy boy, why are you always so pissed off?"

"I'm pissed because a bastard just poured his coffee on my Lily this morning."

"Aww that's so bad." Jungkook chuckled, making Taehyung burn in rage.

"You think you're cool? Let me tell you that you're not."

"Who said I'm cool? Hot is what I am." Jungkook winked, clicking his cheek with his tongue.

"Huh?" Taehyung chuckled bitterly at him and Jungkook stood closer, resting his hand against the wall as he smiled at Taehyung with a flirtatious gaze.

"It might be our destiny that we are stumbling upon each other. Now may I know your name?" Jungkook asked dramatically, acting like a casa nova as he leaned over Taehyung, flirting dripping from his voice and gestures.

Taehyung narrowed his eyes, pushing Jungkook by pointing his finger on his chest.

"You don't have to know."

"Why not? You like it when I call you honey?" Jungkook asked, wiggling his eyebrows at him.

"SHUT UP!"

Jungkook laughed and felt pitiful for him because he had played with his temper a lot. He then got inside his house.

"See you around, Neighbour slash frenemy." Jungkook said, waving before shutting the door.

"Who the hell gave you the right to call me this? You ain't my friend nor my enemy. Raise your standard to be one." Taehyung scoffed and Jungkook opened up the door again, peeking his face out.

"Look up baby, my standards are higher than you think. This is why I bother talking to you." Jungkook winked teasingly, closing the door behind and Taehyung just stood there, flustered.

His cheeks turned the shade of crimson red but he soon frowned, wondering how some stranger complimented him. Taehyung was sure he would not fall for it and stomped his feet in an annoyed manner.

Taehyung was really burning in rage, how dare he fluster his heart.

Taehyung's eyes then landed on his door, an idea popping as he noticed the golden numbers on it.

Taehyung smirked, turning the numbers upside down. He first did with 8 which was still seemingly an 8 but when he turned 6 down it seemed like 9. The 86 was now 89.

"Oh well Mr. Neighbour, how about this now?"

Taehyung smiled, whistling innocently and getting inside his house as if nothing happened.
