Well, this book has finally come to an end. (Expect for the one bonus chapter I have

planned for you all.) I will be honest, I had really low expectations of this game. This was an

entirely new game, and while I did play Fire Emblem Echoes, that game was remake with about

a handful of new characters that really didn't impact the game's original story, character

development, and soundtrack. I am referring to Fire Emblem Fates and that whole mess. I just

wasn't too sure about this game. My youngest siblings picked up a copy opening day and played

the Blue Lion Route, because she has a crush on Dimitri. I just looked at her play a few chapters

and then saw how different it was from the previous Fire Emblem games we've both played. The

art is gorgeous and the soundtrack is also astounding. Literally, I turned my head around when I

heard Fóldan Winds playing in the first map. Then, I saw the three lords talking to Beresu, and

they were so different. Dimitri appeared to be like the traditional Fire Emblem Lord until his

trauma comes back, Claude is literally a loose cannon tactician prince who just wants everyone

to get along, and Edelgard just wants to end the nobility and allow humanity to make their own

decisions. So, I was interested after the first few maps I saw, and the idea that you can pick a

path to follow that isn't over all canon which is a very good thing. One of the things that

bothered me with Fates was that the canon map is DLC exclusive unless you bought both copies

of the game and got the pass, which at the time, not many people knew how to do that. In total,

you basically bought around a 60-70 dollar game with some of script cut out (or at least from

what I heard). So, I did buy the game and went with the Black Eagle Path, because my sibling

chose Dimitri and three of my friends went down the Golden Deer Route. Right away, all the

characters have their own arch and personalities. When you meet your house, you can see how

different everyone is from each other. From Dorothea's struggle of finding a way to survive in

Fóldan to Linhardt being too tired to give a crap unless it involves his research. I was enchanted

by this cast. Then, I got to the twist, and I was so shocked at what they had done. Edelgard being

the antagonist because of her past and trying to change the world to what she thinks is better is

something I didn't see coming. Along with the time skip and how everyone appears. I was so

amazed by this game. It blew expectations out of the water! I couldn't wait to see the other paths,

meet and get to know the other characters and see what other stories would come up. Heck, after

I beat the Blue Lion Route, I waited for the DLC for the Ashen Wolves before I continue to do

the Golden Deer Route and the Church Route. I wanted to meet these new characters, and man,

that DLC did not disappoint either! This was a very good Fire Emblem Game, and to anyone in

Smash who was annoyed with Byleth and Beresu making it, this is probably the last Fire

Emblem character they will add. Much like with Persona 5 and Royal, I have no idea how the

next Fire Emblem game is going to top this, but I can't wait to see what they will do next!

Now, to other side of this game, I started my first year of college with this game which is

kind of funny since Byleth and Beresu become teachers to teach students at a college like school.

They were both new to this idea and didn't really know what to do about it. However, they were

able to do it, so that gave me the courage to do my best at my first year of college. Although, I

didn't really make any friends, I was able to do my best and achieve high grades and put up my

chapters as well as finish Fire Emblem Three Houses and other games. That game made me have

courage to face my first year of college as well we allow me to meet these wonderful characters

and see their stories come to life. For that, I can't help but say thank you. Thank You Fire

Emblem Three Houses for giving me the courage to face college with everything I have as well

as working hard on my dream to write my stories. Thank you for allowing me face things

without any hesitation and to do my best in my academics.
