Extra: This is an AU, where Zack, Rachel, Danny and the rest of the characters in AOD besides Eddie do not exist. Also you and Eddie live together in a small house. I got the idea of the plot for this one shot from the backstory of a person's drawing that I saw on tiktok, I don't remember their username but all credit of the idea goes to them. If they do happen to come across this and would like me to take it down, I will.

{Second Person P.O.V}
You and Eddie shared a mutual love.
You both spent quite a lot of time together before Eddie killed you to keep you as his treasure forever.
The day it happened was a normal, sunny day. It happened exactly like this; you were sitting on the couch, watching your favorite show when Eddie came up behind you and hit you on the head with his shovel.
[Eddie still has his own graveyard, he is also slightly aged up, both of you are the same age in this]
Your skull cracks open and blood starts pouring out. "E-Eddie!" you yelp, the pain becoming unbearable seconds before you die from blood loss. "Now you're my treasure forever (Y/N)! We'll love each other forever!" Eddie says, smiling at your corpse as he takes your dead body to his graveyard and placing you in the casket he had prepared.
After that Eddie suffered for a good two months, absolutely lonely and miserable. "I-I didn't expect it to be like this, I thought I'd be happy with you being my treasure forever but you were already my treasure when you were alive!" Eddie says, beginning to cry.
In this world, different people believed different things of what happened to you when you die. Some believe in reincarnation, some believe in heaven and hell, others believe that you'll just become a wandering soul, watching everyone as they continue on living. And whatever you believed happens to one, happens to you.
You in this case, always believed in ghosts and believed you too would become one when you died.
You were still figured things out, you watched Eddie and was told by someone who you met once you had died, that you were able to become visible to others as a ghost.
"Eddie!" You shouted once you found him, about a week later after your death. You had found Eddie sitting belong side your grave, in absolute misery.
Two months later, you had figured it out. Now you couldn't necessarily remember how you did it, but you had figured it out. "Eddie!" you called out for the millionth time in the past two months.
Eddie turned to you, beginning to cry. "(Y/N)?? Is it really you?!" Eddie asks, running towards you, only to go directly through you. "O-Oh.. it doesn't matter that I can't hug you! You're back! My treasure!" Eddie says, tears rolling down his eyes, his shovel dropping to the floor.
"Eddie! Oh I'm so glad you can see me! I missed you Eddie! I'll always love you even if you killed me!" You say. "I-I'm sorry (Y/N)! That was a mistake! I'm so sorry (Y-)-(Y/N)!" Eddie says.
"It's okay Eddie, your heart was in the right place" you say, smiling at him.
