I was woken up by my blaring alarm clock in my ear.

"Okay," I groaned as if it could understand me.

I got up and got ready before walking downstairs. My phone rang as I was getting ready to walk outside.

"Hello?" I said.

"What's up?" Scarlett said.

"Oh, Scarlett," I sighed in relief.

"What? Not eager to hear from me?" She said playfully.

"No, I thought you were someone else."

"Delicious, details."

"What makes you think my personal life is worth any of your business?"

"Darling when London Clarissa Sparks says she was expecting anyone besides me to call, something is new."

"Am I that pathetic?"

"Sadly sweetie, yes."

I thought for a while whether to tell her or not. I mean just because Scarlett was my friend didn't mean she was perfect. I remember the time I told her when I had my first period in science, and she ended up telling one person who spread it around the whole school. It's bad enough being called London Sparks the stripper, but even worse being called The Bloody Massacre of London. To this day I can't scrub that name completely off.

"Well there's a guy," I said hesitantly.

"A guy!?!? My my, Has The Good Girl Gone Bad?"

"No, and I don't plan on doing so until I'm 100."

"Well until then, tell me some of the details about this little fling."

"Well you already know him."

"Yes."

"He's tall."

"Everyone's tall compared to you, but go on."

"Nope you just ruined it!"

"Come on London I was just yanking ya."

"Okay, it's the new guy."

"Shut the hell up! You're lying to me!"

"Nope, crystal as a diamond."

"Oh my gosh, how did it start?"

"Well."

There was a knock at the door. I got up off the couch and walked to the door right behind me.

"One second Scarlett."

I opened the door.

"Surprise," Ted smiled.

"Well speak of the Devil," I said.

"He's at your house! You lucky b*tch!"

"I'm going to have to call you back."

"Come on I want to her a little something, why are you-"

I hung up the phone as she continued to speak.

"The Devil huh?" Ted said.

"Yes, you're just a temptation from Hell."

"That's weird, most girls say I'm a God."

"I'm not most girls."

"But you did accept my offer to go on a date with me. Something most girls do."

"I didn't accept anything, you forced me."

"Keep telling yourself that."

"I will because it's the truth! Why are you here anyway?"
