I was in my room on my phone and listening to music when my door swung open and I saw my older brother

"Mom said you have to get ready, we are going to the O'Connells for dinner"

"Who the fuck are the O'Connells." I ask confused

"My best friends family, his mom and ours took a liking to each other"

"Ugh fine, shut my door!" I shout as he walks out and leaves it open

"Bitch!" I yell at him

"Y/n!" I hear my mom yell

"Sorry!"

Ugh now I have get ready when I wanted to spend tonight in

I get out of my bed and chose an outfit

It's a white of the shoulder top with a light pink mini skirt

I am the biggest girly girl you can imagine honestly

I use my curler to put my hair into loose curls with a pink headband

I do a light bit of makeup and grab my purse and my pink heels and walk downstairs

And yes this is casual wear for me, don't ask

I get to the front room to see everyone waiting for me

"Could you wear a shorter skirt?" My dad asks me

"Yes I could" I say sarcastically

I grab my AirPods and my phone and I put them in my purse

We all get in the car and we drive off

We arrive to a pretty small bungalow house

I step out of the car and sort my skirt out a little before we all walk up to the door

My mom knocks as we all wait

"Ah, hey. Your just in time, dinners almost done" we are greeted with a woman with dark ginger hair which I assume as their mom

As I walk in I'm greeted by a white and brown dog at my feet barking

"Oh hello there" I say as I kneel down to stroke the dog

I stand back up and brush the dog hair of od me and make my way to the kitchen to see my brother and his friend

I'm super shy around new people so I walk up to my brother and whisper in his ear

"Where's the wash room?" I whisper

"Down the hallways to the right" he tells my and I nod and make my way there

I walk in and look in the mirror and calm myself down to meet new people

"Come on y/n it's gonna be fine" I say and take one last deep breath and make my way out of the room
