"How'd you sleep?" He asked

"Great, i just happen to be next to the hottest Salvatore brother" I turned around and pull the sheets up to cover my bare chest

"Right" i rolled my eyes and began to get out of his bed, grabbing his shirt of the floor to pull over my head

Once I finished getting dressed and Damon still sat sulking in bed I began to smell something

"I think elena made pancakes" I said excitedly "come on, up and dressed" I said pulling the sheets of him

"Better and o positive blood" he rolled his eyes, beginning to get dressed

Once we made it downstairs surely enough I saw Elena making pancakes and Stefan sat reading the paper

"Morning love vampires, thought this might get you downstairs" she winked as I sneaked over and tried to grab and blueberry but she hit my hand away

"Remind me how I dated you again" he asked sarcastically

"A lot of bourbon apparently" I shot back

"I don't know, he's barely spoke to me all morning. And I, elena Gilbert, and letting him get on with it. Because todays a good day and I'm not letting anyone ruin it" she nodded

"And specific reason?" I asked intrigued

"Wow it's been a year" I whispered and went over to put my lips on his and he pulled my onto his lap, grabbing my jaw with one hand and snaking his other arm around my waist

"Ahem, I'm still here. And as I was saying, to celebrate you two we have pancakes and to celebrate you being a vampire for a year we are going on a snatch eat erase binge" she smiled proud of herself
