I laid my head on the desk just waiting for this period to be over as I closed my eyes just for a second

"I'm sorry miss Parker, I hope I'm not inturupting your nap am I?" She teacher asked as she stopped writing on the bored

"No ma'am" I said and sat up as I tried not to smiled

"Have you got all the notes down?" She asked and crossed her arms over her chest

"Maybe?" I said and looked down at my almost empty pages

"Stay behind after class, you can catch up" she sighed and turned around to continue writing as I rolled my eyes and tried to copy as much as I could

When the bell went everyone jumped up and packed away before rushing out the room as I stayed there with my head in my hands

"Lia you coming?" Billie walked in the room to ask

"Your girlfriend seems to have an attitude, Billie" she inturupted her

"She's always my girlfriend when she's in trouble" Billie laughed and went over to hug Gia

"I wonder who she learns off?" Gia laughed

"Hi baby" Gia whispered into her hair

"You really gave me a detention?" I groaned as she walked over and sat on the desk infront of me

"Yes, now as teacher to student. What's going on? Your distant in my classes?" She asked and Billie came and stood next to her

I just shrugged my shoulders and began picked at my nail polish

"Ok, now as girlfriend to girlfriend. What's going on?" She sighed and looked at me concerned

"I don't know, I guess my depression playing up. I'm tired and I can't concentrate, all the time" I explained and tried not to cry

"Have you been taking your meds?" She asked now concerned As I nodded

"Why didn't you say anything?" Billie asked

We heard the door suddenly open as Billie rushed to sit in the seat next to me

"We all good in here, miss Marino?" The male teacher asked

"Yup, just dealing with two detentions" she joked

"What they do this time?" He asked

"Had a little bit of a working issue, but we are working on it" she said and turned to us to roll her eyes

"What? Was the poor punishment to hard?" He joked referring to my crying

"Beg my pardon, John. But I really dont think it's appropriate to belittle a struggling student. When you have no idea the reasons. So I would appreciate it if you would remove yourself from my classroom and next speak to any of my students like that again. Understood?" She explained starkly

"Yes ma'am" he said and rushed out

"We would've helped ages ago, why didn't you say anything?" She asked concerned

"Because then it would be a thing" I rolled my eyes and wiped my tears
