Time is wasted each day we pass
When we daydream
Fake sleep, sleepless in a night dress
Bringing every burden from the day into your bed
The stress is so obliterating that your energy brings every other in distress
A wreck is what you've caused countless times
A mess is what's left behind
A constant damage when you're around
But I like it
The toxicity in your love
I love it
The deepness in your touch
Makes me okay
I feel better knowing that the anger in your words
Is just as it is, rage
But though the red flags strike my face
I continue with you cause I love it anyways
Nonetheless, we move
As timeless as time is
There's a moment when we pause & so it too
Hopefully our chains line up and I'm standing in front of you
