The peace within me has made me realise that I can't go back to what I used to be
That this maybe isn't meant for me
The pain that I've felt so long resurfaces
But this now is of a different purpose from what it truly is

I lose my breath everytime my chest closes
And I think of you
A smaller space when the air slowly suffocates me
When I see your face
I remember every artificial cry of your insensitivity towards my heart
My love, my respect

Your voice
Brings me back to every infiltrated lie
You've told

And you're more than bold to blame it all on me
Saying I'm the one who is possibly doing something
Wrong
That's what you are
And guilt is what you feel
Because you know every choice is either or and there's no in between
And justification for what you did
And no explanation for what you mean

Or maybe what you meant to say was
" I am sorry for all the pain that I've caused you
If only I had felt it babe I would've known how to love you
I feel so ashamed that I wasn't the one who could provide that for you
But on our memories there's no debt that's all, I should had the respect to tell you all
I should have never been the one to play you
I love you for who you are
Unexpectedly you became my star
My love, my all
Undoubtedly you raised the bar
For all of those who now try to get my love
Stood by my side from start
And now dearly it breaks my heart
That I couldn't be what you needed, even nor what I wanted to be "
