Internal Pain 🌹

If you were to put your hand out all you'd feel is the cold drops of rain
Lift your head up and realise it's your pain
You're crying all over, again and again
Let that hurt go and forgive the memories of it all
Take your back up off the cold, hard wall
Look down and realise that you've fallen
Pick yourself up, dust it all, stand tall
Realise that pain is for a moment
Understand that when you cry and feel the hurt that you do understand
"I wanna tell someone
I want to cry on their shoulders
Be held in their arms
And talk about it all
Express how I feel
Show the scars from my fall
Show them that though I slouch
One day I will stand tall
My red eyes will colour me blue but i will portray it all
Because it takes that one person to reveal my all
But then I remember myself
And I remember the way I cried for help and no one answered my call
I now remember why I never said a word
Cause no one wanted to listen at all"
But I remembered that "big girls don't cry"
I remember that "yes but you've became stronger"
But I didn't need to be stronger
I was a child
I needed to be safe
And when I get enraged I'm going overboard and you act like "it was never this way"
And each day I feel it all over again
You're the main cause of my internal pain
