Caught in the past
She honestly hoped that things would last
And it surely was her last
She's kind of stuck in a wave
That's got her mind in this unfortunate daze

I mean she's stuck at seventeen
A grown woman who still dreams
But we won't ever be too old to learn
Never too broke to earn
And never too cold to burn

So love who and what you are , now
Stay at war , cause no one will come to save you
Be a star , cause being dull won't allow you to shine
Reach out for your goals instead of letting the time pass you by
Reach your goals , the one you've in all ways always wanted
Cause remember "Never Too Old To"
But sometimes patience can be gold
