What I write would speak to your soul
Cause many are afraid to speak what we all think
But here I am to spit the truth and help console
I say what you think like Braille my words will be what you feel
Understanding is the latter if it swirls your emotions
I'm here to make you cry
Feel the pain and to taste my cries
I'm here to open your eyes

Give you a sense of the world from another mind
Let me open your horizon the way poetry has opened mine
I've shown myself so many different things from looking in to different eyes
I've listened to stories where life never had no life
Where the sweetest honey turned to an attraction for flies
Where the coldest hearts only become colder
Where rock was replaced for what bettered our place
A heart

And as you read self evaluate
Where do you fall in
Where do you equate
Poetry will have you believing in the hurt that you've never felt your self
I respect your interest on advising help
But to write you need pain to press a keyboard
To write you need pain to paint with the ink
With pain you write what you feel
Emotions are irregular you get different emotions depending on what you think
Experience drives emotions giving you a brink of the time that you've seen
The places that you've been

But only some get the chance to replace
While the rest of us watch while our lives replay in offspring that we bring
How unfortunate the time we sung is the time they sing

You've loved my rythym but hated my blues
And that's the difference between me and you
The life I've lived has made who I am
The life you've lived makes you seem so grand
But I pity you
Because you draw your hand to a soldier like me but cannot fathom nor imagine the things I've seen

I see your interest in the money I bring
But I'd love for you to see the innovation besides the rings
Watch how I twist my words, my poems on the feelings that I bring
Give interest to the words that I spit and how smoothly they flow
Memorize my face when my words fit in every drop of an instrumental

I'm instrumental in so many ways
I implement a spice and a sass that could never be replaced
So when you see me remember my face
Remember my name
I am the flavour
The heat
Enlighten your tastes
A fragrance igniting aroma that you could never quite trace
And even if you'd try to remake my potion surely there's something you'd be missing
Never will you have a finger to quite place
Never will you be pushed into such a cocoa butter, shea spread, sunflower space
A smooth finish like me you could never ever find again

How sweet is my lyrical embrace ?
