You deserve a love with no suffering
You deserve a service, no walking in
You deserve the truth, no buffering
You deserve what you give to every one else
A peace of mind
A heart quickened in pace
Beating in joy, beating in love
A bloody scene
A bloody murderer
Loose on the streets
No case, no face
No forensics
No trace, but your body was left behind
An elongated wound from your head to your toe
Longer than the one from your spine
Your heart was taken on a journey that was not your own, neither mine
But you believe that everything in this world is a tragedy
But I believe to show you that everything is a sign, lovingly
If only you'd look
To the side there's your demon
To your other is another
Everyone is not an angel
We can't be
And I'm coming from a different angle
Cause we all aren't saints
We're all just trying to better for our own sake
Stick with the demon you know
But the soil that's rooted deep beneath won't grow
Or will it ?
Challenges grow our minds but weaken our hearts
In every choice there's a risk, you'll lose something
More than you'd think
It's always been a matter of mind or heart
A matter of psyche to emotion
It's always been a race, end to start or start to end
In some way you could either be mindless
Walking in a world naive
Confused with no patience with no time
Or you could walk heartless
An icebox, freezing cold under your own weather
With this storm on your own to weather
Which one of these make you feel better ?
Or are you just going to lie to me while I watch your eyes get wetter ?
