CUT TO:

EXT. SLOANE'S HOUSE 17

Paris knocks on Sloane's door. He looks surprised as STEVE, Sloane's dad and a beefy, bald man in his fifties, answers.

STEVE
(bluntly)
Oh, Paris. What are you doing back here?

PARIS
Hi Steve, nice to see you. I was just wondering if I could speak to Sloane?

STEVE
Are you fucking joking, Paris? Somehow I don't think my daughter ever wants to see your face again.

PARIS
Please, Steve. I'm begging you.

STEVE
Look, she's not even in anyway, Paris. Just leave.

PARIS
I can see her light on, Steve. All I'm asking for is one conversation and then I'll be gone forever.

STEVE
Paris just fuck off. You dump Sloane as soon as you hit the bigtime and then I'm guessing it's all gone wrong and you want her back. Well let me tell you that's not how it works.

PARIS
I don't care how you think it works. All I know is that I'm going to do everything I can to win Sloane back.

STEVE
Paris, I'm going to slam this door now and if you ever come around again I will snap both your legs in half. Get it?

Paris gulps.

PARIS
Understood.

STEVE
Good.

Steve slams the door in Paris' face. Paris sighs and slumps to the ground, leaning on Sloane's house. Slowly he gets up and walks around to the back of the house, below Sloane's window.

PARIS
Hey Sloane, it's Paris.

Sloane peeks through her curtains then goes away.

PARIS
Look, listen...

PARIS
(singing to One More Time by Jon Bellion)
Your father said he would break my legs
If I ever came around again
I don't mind risking the wheelchair
If we could get another round in

Oh-oo-oh you told him you would stay away
But here you are, I kiss your face
You touch my chest, I feel your legs
We're in too far, I hear you say

One more time (I need you, I need you, I need you!)
One more time (I need you, I need you, I need you!)

It's dangerous in the action sequence
And I'm ready to die hard
It's like we're stuck in an 80's movies
As you're sneaking into my car

Oh-oo-oh you told him you would stay away
But here you are, I kiss your face
You touch my chest, I feel your legs
We're in too far, I hear you say

One more time (I need you, I need you, I need you!)
One more time (I need you, I need you, I need you!)

Paris collapses onto the grass.

PARIS
Please, Sloane. Just say something.

A few seconds go by with Paris looking intently up at the window.

SLOANE
Just fuck off Paris. You never change do you? Always breaking into song to try and win me round. Well it's not going to work this time. I never want to hear your voice again.

Paris sighs, gets up and trudges away from Sloane's house.
