I woke up to the alarm going off in my watch and immediately sat up. I looked around and realized I was in my room How did I get here? I thought to myself. Last thing, I remember was falling asleep in the map room, Newt must have carried me. But where is he now? I sighed softly and let my feet on the ground. I picked up my watch to check the time and realized, the door will open in an hour. I still had a half hour before I really had to get up. I still didn't want to go back to sleep, so I got up, and saw a piece of paper on my nightstand.

Hey love
Hope you had a good night sleep. It's your day off by the way. I gave Alby a piece of my mind for always over working you. When you read this, meet me outside the homstead. It's a date. ;)

I smiled at my boyfriend's over protectiveness and walked out of my room, outside the homstead. I looked around and realized, the sun had not risen yet. 

"There you are." A thick voice said. "Good morning Newt." I kissed him soflty and pulled away. "Good morning to you too love." He smiled back at me.
"Come on" He took my hand and pulled me with him. "But, where?" "Just come on." I sighed realizing, I wasn't getting any answers and let him pull me to the deadheads. When we were in the middle of the deadheads, Newt commanded, "Close your eyes love." I did as he said and let him once again pull me. After a few minutes, he finally said I could open my eyes, and let out a gasp when I saw the view.

There was a tree house in the centre of the woods around it was a pond, shining in crystal blue. The tree was so high, that I was surprised, that no one could see it from the glade. Newt chuckled at my reaction and motioned me to climb the ladder after him. I silenlty followed him and gradually got up the treehouse.

We sat at the top of the treehouse cause Newt said that he wanted to show something to me. We waited in silence, not an awkward one, but a comfortable one, just enjoying each other's company.

"There" He suddenly shouted, making me look at the direction, he was pointing it. My eyes went wide and my mouth opened agape. I watched in awe as the sun started to rise, slowly and softly. The sky painted in yellow, red, orange and pink colours. I had watched sunrise before, but they were nothing compared to this beauty. The sun slowly rose, making the clouds, around it turn a shade of orange. It was an irony. Me, sitting here with Newt. Before him, my life was filled with clouds, a sense of insecurities and emptiness filled me, but soon Newt came along, just like the sun, slowly peeking through the sadness and gradually rising fully. My sadness melted away and brought a sense of warmth, making me completely question if the coldness even existed.

I looked at Newt only to see him already staring at me and grinned. I couldn't help but smile back and look at his beautiful features. His warm chocolate brown eyes, his soft lips, his sharp jawline, and everything about him. It just fascinated me. I leaned into him and softly but passionately kissed him. I felt him kissing back with the same passion and love. After some time, I pulled away, breathless from the kiss and said, "I love you." He grinned at me showing his pearly white teeth and said," I love you too love. But the date has just started."

He excitedly climbed me back down towards the pond and pushed me in the water. I gasped at the sudden movement, and looked at Newt with my face red from embarrassment and anger. He just laughed and started undressing himself, leaving him in just his boxers. Even after almost 2 years, being together, I couldn't help but stare at him, his abs, his perfectly toned bare chest.

He noticed me staring and smirked, "Like what you see love." I blushed at his comment, but quickly regained my posture and shouted, "Just come in you slinthead."
Still smirking, he jumped in the water, splashing water all over me. My clothes were fully soaked now, so I decided I had nothing to lose and slowly removed them leaving me in my undergarments. Nothing he's never seen anyway. He pulled him towards by my waist.

He brought his lips to my ear," You are so beautiful love" and kissed it lightly. I grabbed his mouth and started kissing me. He kissed me back and his tongue almost instantly asking for permission. This was my cue, I pushed him back and splashed water all over him. I smirked and started swimming towards the other side, shouting, "PAYBACK!"

He smirked and started swimming towards me in attempt to catch me. After an eternity which was only a couple hours of us making out, having water fights, etc. we finally decided to come out.

My stomach growled quietly and Newt chuckled, "Hungry love?" "Starving" I answered back. He yet again chuckled.

I went to put on my wet clothes, but he gently pushed my hand away. "Nuh uh. Can't have you getting sick on a date can we?" "But, I don't have anything else to wear." He put on a fake thinking face and gave me the same mischievous look from yesterday. I gave him a confusing look but he just smiled and asked me to go inside the treehouse. I wanted to ask him, but decided against it and entered the treehouse. Saying the treehouse was beautiful, would be an understatement. It had a small couch type thing and a big hammock set at the other side. But what caught my attention was a dress perfectly spread across the table.

It was gorgeous, is to say the least. It was of y/f/c. I wore it and looked myself at the makeshift mirror. I looked absolutely stunning. It was my perfect size. I decided to let my hair down and combed them properly. Even though, I hate wearing makeup, I decided to do it, just for his sake. When I was ready, I looked at the mirror again, satisfied with my work.

I called down to Newt telling him I was ready and he quickly climbed up. I waited for him to show up. He was wearing a tux and damn did he look hot. His eyes widened at my site. "Oh my god y/n" He managed to breathe out.

"What? Do I not look okay? Am I-" He quickly cut me off my chuckling and saying, "y/n you look absolutely wonderful. I may not remember seeing any other girl, but I am sure you are the most beautiful girl in my whole life." I laughed at his cheesiness. 

"You don't look too bad yourself. But come on, now I'm hungry." "But what about this then?" He had y/f/f [your favorite food] in a plate. I smiled and silently thanked him. We both sat on the entrance of the treehouse, our feet dangling down the edge. We ate and watched the glade, the only sound were of the morning chirping of birds. "Hey Newt?" I asked curiously
"Yeah?"
" How did you find this place?"
"This treehouse and the pond?" I nodded waiting for his answer.
"Well, I was walking in the deadheads, one day when I found this pond. It somehow calmed me down and made me forget about every problem for awhile you see. And I started to come here for a while to think when you were on your run. Then, one day, I felt like I needed to thank you for all you've done for me. So, I got up and went to Gally, knowing he's like an elder brother to you and requested him for a treehouse, so he made me one." "You asked all of this for me?" He nodded sheepishly. "Thank you." I said and hugged him.

After breakfast, he said that he had some work to do, so he walked me back to our room. Almost every eye, turned on us as we walked towards the homstead. Newt wrapped a protective arm around my waist, as people started to cat-call and wolf whistle. I abruptly stopped, making him look questioningly at me. I grabbed his colar and kissed him full on the lips. He relaxed and kissed back. 

After a few seconds, I pulled away and looked him dead in the eye, "I'm yours and yours only. Understand?" He nodded, a smile creeping on his face. "Good that."
