Rex didn't speak to me for the rest of the trip. Nobody questioned anything.
Mad pulled into my driveway and helped me unload my bags.
Mad, Vic, and I sat in the living room and watched television.
I started to drift off into my thoughts.
"Is something wrong? You've been acting weird," Mad asked.
"It's nothing major really."
"Tell us."
"Rex is mad at me."
"Why?"
"Don't tell the guys."
They nodded.
"We kissed a few times, and we both kinda feel something for each other. I told him we shouldn't be together cause it could be bad if we broke up."
"You seriously kissed Rex? Is there something wrong with you?" Vic was in shock.
"Why didn't you tell us you two had a thing?"
"It wasn't much. Just a crush you know."
"If you guys really feel something for each other, go for it. Nothing should hold you back. If something goes wrong y'all can cross that bridge together. Don't worry about what you can't control. Even though being with Rex seems nasty. If it makes you happy who gives a damn." That was the first time I had ever heard Vic speak about something so passionately.
I gave her a hug, "Thank you for saying that Vic. It means a lot."
"Yeah, whatever," she went back to muttering.
"Are you gonna call him?" Mad wondered.
"I don't know. I really just need some time to think."
Mad looked at Vic, "We'll go then. Tell me if you call him."
