Chapter 13

Nene's POV

I woke up feeling sad and sore. I was so sad that i didn't even spend enough time on my morning devotion as i usually do.

I did my morning beauty routine and got dressed. I took a look at the Apology letter i wrote the previous night and felt so enraged as i read the words i penned.

"This is too sincere and sweet for you L.D! You feel you are smart? I will show you who's smart! Let's see how tough you are. I will be your nightmare!" I said as i tore the letter and rewrote another one.

After i was done, i went down to prepare breakfast. I want to recharge my strength and be ready for the coming 'L.D battle'. Lola came down to join me and we ate our meal.

"Nenny, easy on the bread. Why are you chewing it with so much force and anger." Lola asked, looking surprised.

"The bread's name is L.D, for now. I'm crushing 'him-it'. I wish i could crush the human L.D like this!" I replied with a growl.

Lola laughed and said:

"I hope you are not up to mischief today? Your eyes are telling me you are about to do something crazy."

"Yeah, I'm about to do something really crazy... Oh, you won't be able to imagine it if i tell you. Take a look. I'm so ready for him today." I replied slyly as i gave her the letter of Apology to read.

Lola gasped as she read out:

"My not so Dear L.D,

Please sir, i am sorry sir, for not using enough pepper spray on your face.

Please sir, the reason i used the pepper spray is because you sexually harassed me and i have a right to protect myself, i am sorry sir, that i didn't use enough pepper spray on your eyes too.

Please sir, i am sorry sir, for not attacking you more than i did at the CPRU. Please sir, the reason i attacked you is because you suggested that i move in with you. I felt insulted and humiliated.

Please sir, i am sorry, but i am actually demonstrating my remorse at the moment, by writing this damned letter to you.

Please sir, i am sorry, did you take your breakfast today? I pray you choke if you did.

Please sir, how about your lectures, assignments, peace of mind and your health? I am sorry, because as long as you make my life a living hell, your lectures, assignments, peace of mind and your health will be in the bosom of Hades.

Please sir, i am sorry, because the pleasant sweet words that will heal your burnt eyes and face is deep within you and i can't seem to get it out from you.

Please sir, i am sorry, you may not enjoy a good night rest and sweet dreams because as long as you make life unbearable for me, you will definitely not sleep or rest well.

"No, no, no! No way!! L.D will really freak out when he sees this! This is way too much, Nenny!" Lola slightly screamed.

"That's my aim." I said, gleefully.

"At this rate, I'll have to go with you. I can't allow you go to the student car park to meet him alone...with...with this!" Lola said, waving the letter.

"I'd already made arrangement with the taxi company to drop you off at the car park before 6:30am every day, considering the fact that it will be too early for me to be in school by then, since our lectures usual starts at 8am. With this stunt you are about to pull, i have to be there, in case anything goes wrong." Lola said with so much concern.
