"You're smiling like an idiot. Mag-isa ka lang dyan tapos ngumingiti ka. Abnoy ka ba?"

I glared the person who standing in front of me.

"Shut up, Wela. There's nothing wrong of smiling."

She smiled devilishly. "Really? What's wrong of smiling when there's no one inside here except you and me. And I didn't do anything to make you smile. You tell me. What happened yesterday?"

When she said the word 'yesterday', napangiti muli ako nang maalala ang nangyari kahapon. It's really nice to have a siblings. I'm only child kaya first time ko lang maexperienced na may maliliit na bata kang kasama.

"See, something's wrong with you?"

Besides of being the owner of the Hancock University, I have a company to managed.

Because my dad gives me a year to fulfill my dreams, then after that, magfofocus na ako sa company namin.

Knock! Knock!

Someone's knocking in the door. Pinagbuksan naman ito ni Wela. It's my secretary, Almira.

         "Yes?"

"Miss Hancock, your father is here. He wants to talk to you."

I frowned before I answered to let him in.

He's Zeke Israel Hancock, my father. But God knows how faithful and loyal he is to my mother.

"Hello my gorgeous daughter. What are you doin'?" Nakangiti siya ng malapad. I smell something odd from him. "Are you busy tonight?"

"It depends." "Why are you asking me that?"

Then he smiled widely. That smile of his, nakakatakot.

          "I have a kumpadre--"

I cut his words. "You have a lots of kumpadre, Dad. What's this time? Maging matchmaker na naman po ba kayo? Dad, how many times I need to tell you that---"

"I know. I know. Just this one."

"Dad, ilang beses mo ng sinabi yan. Wala na bang bago?"

"Please Zam. I promise that this will be the last time. Just date my kumpadre's son. I think magkakasundo kayong dalawa. He's nice and handsome." Ngumiti pa siya ng malaki. "He's not like your boyfriend. Nowhere to be found. Where is he, by the way? It's been a month when he leaves you."

Last time we talked, last week lang. I'm not his first priority but I understand him.

"Let's not talked about him, Dad. Mag-uusap kami pagbalik niya." Seryoso kong sabi.

"You know what, just break that guy already. I don't see that you're happy with him. Why you chose to be with him?"
