Colby stood frozen as he looked at the three babies, the thought of losing his wife and having to raise those boys alone was overwhelming. He took a deep breath to compose himself before he spoke again

"You said she's bad.. how bad? Like she's unconscious and a machine is breathing for her bad or she needs a lot of blood and rest bad?" He asked

"Is there a difference?" The nurse questioned confused

"You don't know my wife" he shook his head "She will fight until she can't fight anymore, if she's up there with even 1% of surviving she will fight"

"Like I stated before, she was having issues breathing so they placed her on oxygen through her nose which is better than a ventilator, they gave her a lot of blood in the Operating Room and they were finishing giving her more before I came down here..she is awake"

"Take me" he said and he looked to his mother

"I will stay with them" Holly nodded and he handed his mother his phone

"Call her mom" he said "Tell her what is going on and show her her grandsons" he said and Holly nodded

Colby walked into the ICU and was immediately overwhelmed by both the smell of how clean the place was and the sounds of a million machines from all different rooms on the floor. He couldn't believe this was happening again, he'd been through this once with Rebecca when Alex was born, he felt the same way now that he did back then.

The closer he got to the room the louder her voice got, he could hear her arguing and that made the heavy weight on his chest lift, she was okay enough to argue.

He walked in the room seeing her sitting on the side of the bed and she looked at him as he walked in

"What are you doing?" He asked as he walked over to her quickly

"She is supposed to be laying down and resting" the nurse said as she tried to help the redhead lay back in the bed but Rebecca shrugged her off

"I don't want to rest" she said "I want my kids" she said "I want to see them"

"Rebecca we have time, you just went through major surgery, you just almost died.. you need to rest" Colby said and she shook her head

"I want to see my boys" she looked at him through tears "They won't let me go down there until I show improvement but I don't know how much more improvement you need to see, I'm sitting up" she snapped at the nurse

"Can you move your legs?" The nurse questioned and Colby watched his wife struggle "You have to be able to move your legs, we need the numbing medication to wear off before we can let you go down there" she explained and Rebecca looked at her husband who sat next to her and grabbed her hand

"Did you see that?" He asked as he stared at his wife's legs and the nurse looked up from her paperwork "She moved her feet" Colby stated and the nurse stared at him skeptically "I'm telling you she moved her legs.. I saw it happen" he said

"If she can get into a wheelchair with your help I will allow it" the nurse said as she walked out of the room to get a wheelchair

Rebecca looked to her husband confused as he placed a kiss on her head

"Colby" she said "I didn't move" she said and he nodded

"I know" he said with a nod

"How am I supposed to get in that wheelchair? I can't feel my legs!"

"Do you trust me?" He asked and she nodded

"More than anything"

"I won't let you fall" he said "I will get you down there one way or another, your boys need you"
