Iwan x Reader

A/N: This is part of a request from sdeathslayer1. I will be doing oneshots with all 12 G.O.Ds and one with them all together. Enjoy!

Y/N's POV

" Alright. Everything seems to be running smoothly here." I said. I put my tablet away and walked out. " Iwan is going to love these results." I said. I work for Iwan. He's the G.O.D of Universe 1. Our universe has the highest mortal level. Iwan and Anato needed some help keeping an eye on things. So they contacted me.

Before Iwan was the G.O.D, we were best friends. We technically grew up together. When Iwan became the G.O.D, he pushed for my life span to be lengthened. Thankfully he got his wish. But when he became the G.O.D, we lost contact. But he reached out to me.

And I was grateful. But he's been distant. He's always finding tasks for me to do. It's like he wants me out of his hair. I've been shaking off the thought. I took out the device I use to call Awamo.      " Hey Awamo. I have the results that Iwan wanted. I'm ready to go." I said.

" Alright. I'm coming to get you." He said. I nodded. Awamo came a few minutes later. We then left to go back home. " Hey Awamo. May I ask you a question?" I asked. " Sure Y/N. What is it?" He asked. " Do you know why Iwan has been so distant with me?" I asked.

" Explain your definition of distant." Awamo said. " He keeps sending me to planets to evaluate the mortals. I know that sounds like a stupid reason, but he's been doing it more than usual. And whenever I'm around, he finds excuses to get away from me. He's changed. You must've seen it too." I said.

" Yes. He seems to act differently when you're around. And whenever I ask him about you, he changes. He avoids the subject." Awamo said. " So it's happening with you too." I said. " Maybe you should talk to him. I'll arrange a scenario where you two are together. Then you can ask him." Awamo said. " Thanks. You're a great friend." I said.

The next day...

Awamo told me that Iwan was out in the garden enjoying some tea. He isn't aware that I'm here. So I'm going to go and talk to him. I took a deep breath and walked up to him. " Hi Iwan." I said. He started coughing. " Hi Y/N. I thought you weren't coming here today." He said.

" Changed my mind." I said. I sat down. He seemed on edge. " It's been forever since we hung out. What have you been up to before I arrived?" I asked with a smile. " I've just been destroying planets and keeping my universe in order. Now I need you evaluate some more planets." He said.

" I come here to talk to you and you're pushing me away. It's like you don't even want me here! I thought we were friends." I said. Iwan sighed. " Universe 1 is the most successful universe in the multiverse. I need to keep it that way." He said. " Alright. I get it. I'll evaluate those planets for you. And you taught me something important today. You care about your universe more than you care about me." I said. I walked off.

Iwan's POV

I sighed. " I pushed Y/N away. Again." I said. " My lord? Are you okay?" Awamo asked. " Yes." I said. " Might I ask you something? Why do you push Y/N away? You two are best friends. Am I mistaken on that matter?" Awamo asked. " no. It's just, the first time I saw Y/N again. I don't know. It's like something I've never felt before." I said.

" For once you haven't expressed your feelings." Awamo said. " What do you mean?" I asked.        " Just go to him/her and say what you need to." Awamo said. I nodded and went to Y/N.

Y/N's POV

" And done." I said. I was in the space above a planet. I sighed. " Why won't Iwan open up to me like he used to when we were kids?' I asked myself. " Y/N!" I heard someone say. I turned to see Iwan. " What do you want?" I asked. I turned my back to him.

" Listen Y/N, I'm sorry I pushed you away. It's just, I haven't felt the same around you since you arrived." He said. " So you don't like me anymore?" I asked. " On the contrary. I like you a lot more than when we were friends." He said. I turned around in shock. Iwan likes me? I started blushing.

" You like me?" I asked. " Yeah. I do. I like you a lot. Your funny, smart, sweet, and your the most amazing person I've met. I like you and I want you to be mine." He said. " That's the Iwan I know. Thanks for being honest with me." I said. " No problem." He said. " And yes, I will be yours. I've always liked you." I said. " I had a feeling." He said. I gave him a nudge on his shoulder and we went off together. Knowing that this was the start of a new relationship.
