The Next Day

I was at the warehouse  in the office and the door opened and rio came in. 

Rio:Hey baby

I ignored him and kept writing. 

Rio:Kehlani

I looked up at him. 

Me:Yes Christopher

Rio:whats wrong now

Me:why did you meet beth last night

Rio:Your following me now?

Me:I waited and you didn't show so why the hell did you meet beth last night

Rio:It was a drop

Me:why in a different place

Rio:It was for security

He said coming over

Rio:relax

He said rubbing my shoulders. 

Rio:Alright and I will make up for last night I promise

He kissed my neck and I turned and looked up at him. 

Me:Now

Rio:excuse me?

Me:Make it up to me now

He smirked. 

Later

I sat at a table afar as Rio ordered food and Beth came and they had a meeting. 

Rio:take it out elizabeth

She took out the gun. 

Rio:maybe your right I'm the problem *smiles* but go ahead and finish me off if you wanna

She looked at mario who sat beside her and back at rio. She set the gun down and slid it to him. 

Beth:we're good

Rio:cool

He grabbed a wooden dowel put it in the barrel not touching the gun and put it back in the bag and mari took it away. 

Rio:thats the gun I used to take care of your friend by the way

Beth:Why!

Rio:Incentive

I knew what Rio was doing, sometimes I wondered if he would ever do something like that to me. Sometimes I wonder if I love him I just- dont know he's different now. He's not the man I fell in love with. Do I even love him anymore? Or do I love the money and s*x? I dont even know anymore. 

The Next Day

Do I love him? He was gone forever and left me alone I survived on my own. I had the bestest most caring friends in the world and now I'm alone. Because of him do I just love the rush the money the scandelousness of it all? I never wanted this a life of criminal activity. 

Rio:watchu thinking about

He said wrapping his arms around me and I looked away from the window. 

Me:*smiles* I'm thinking about painting the kitchen a new color

I said turning to him. 

Rio:Oh yeah what color

Me:red

Rio:*smiles* whatever you want baby

He kissed me and pulled me into a hug. 

(Okay beth being mad at dean for kissing his boss is so ass backward ma'am your out here flirting with a whole mob boss who you chose over dean and I get it dean isn't all that but atleast he's trying okay so relax ma'am)

I slipped outta bed after Rio passed out and I went into the bathroom and made a call.
