I looked in my rear view mirror and he was behind me.

We pulled up to an abandoned warehouse and I got out the car and he smiled at me. 

Rio:You sure that boutique is how you make your money?

Me:I may have other ways

We walked in the door and he looked around seeing my operation. Mario came over. 

Mario:Yo bossman where ya been

Rio:*smiles* here and there

They dapped each other up.

Mario:Kehlani marie is still out cause of the baby

Me:its cool I talked to her already

He nodded 

Me:I need a favor though, I need you to go and watch Beth

Mario:Secretly?

Me:Nah she'll know why your there

He nodded and left, I walked to the back room and he followed. It was an office, I opened the drawer and pulled out my gun.

Rio:What are you doing

I looked at him I walked over to him pulling the slide back and pressing the nozzle against his chin. 

Me:If you ever touch another woman again I will kill you cause now I got everything to lose

He smiled and put his hand over mine moving the gun to my chin. 

Rio:I would never......hurt you

I let my hand fall to my side looking in his eyes. I kissed him and I uncocked the gun putting it in my waist. 

Me:What about leaving?

Rio:I can't promise that

I nodded and walked out.

Later that night

My phone buzzed and I picked up my phone. 

Mario

Coast clear

I got out of my car and I walked to Beth's front door and I walked in. Her house was empty, still. I walked in the kitchen and I sat down at he risland with my gun in my hand. Time passed and eventually the front door opened and I heard a familiar click of heels.

Beth:Hello?

I turned around and her face went pale. 

Me:*smiles* Hey Bethy

Beth:What do you want

I stood up walking to her. 

Me:I want you to stop with the bulls**t

I pressed the nozzle against her stomach. 

Me:Your a mother and Rio aint stupid

Beth:What happened to you?

I looked in her eyes. 

Me:Hell, and now that my family is back together I'll do anything to protect it. Cause Rio, Jacklyn, Ella, Marcus and Aria are my blood. You are not a big player Beth, and if want to act like one I'll treat you like one. 

I leaned in whispering. 

Me:Leave Rio the hell alone

I lowered the gun hearing her take a breath and I walked out. I got home I put the children to bed, changed and I grabbed a bottle of bourbon and sat on the couch downing it, staring and thinking. I was halfway through the bottle when Rio walked in. He came over and sat next to me on the couch. It was silent until I spoke. 

Me:I was gonna kill her

He looked at me but I stared into mid air. 

Me:I went there with the intentions of killing her but when it came to it I couldn't *laughs* All those people I've killed and she is the one that got me f**king ridiculous. 

I took another drink. 

Me:I love you and I would literally do anything for you but the girls after everything they f**king did I still can't

He took the bottle from me. 

Rio:You should probably stop drinking

I looked at him. 

Me:I love you

Rio:I love you too
