Chapter Four: Smuggled

I got home and walked in seeing Rio with Ella and no sign of Tina so this was the perfect time for sarcasm.

Me:Hi honey I'm home, did you eat the dinner I left for you?

Rio:*chuckles* very funny

I took off my heels and set my phone and bag down and walked over to him picking up Ella.

Me:So do you need something?

I said grabbing her bottle which she whined for. I gave it to her and looked at him.

Rio:You guys gotta plan

Me:Yea 

Rio:and it's gonna work? I dont need any screw ups

He said standing up and I gazed in his eyes and felt an overwhelming feeling rush over me.

Me:....y-yea

Rio:*smirks* good I'll see you afterwards ma

He left and I saw a small pink teddy bear on the couch that I know I didn't buy. I picked it up and it had "Ella" stitched on it.

The Next Day

I finished getting ready and pulled on the outfit below

I left to Annie's.

Ruby:that bad huh?

Beth:You have no idea

Annie:I also think we should cross the border at Winser their boarder patrol is super nice there

Ruby:How do you know

Annie and I looked at each other.

Me:We uh used to make a lot of field trips

Annie:to canada in highschool

Ruby:why am I not surprised

Beth:anybody else

She said offering drinks and Annie and I raised our hands.

Ruby:*sighs* No I'm cutting back

Beth:Now is not the time

Me:so we have the passorts

Annie:and we have directions now we just need a car

Beth came over giving annie and I drinks and sitting on the other chair.

Annie:I would say we could take mine but it got the boot

Beth:how many tickets

Annie:six is apparently the cut off now we know

Ruby:well Stan needs our car for the kids

Beth:and I dont want heroine in my car

Annie:it'll probably leave residue
