I got home and saw Rio on the couch and my place was quiet. I took off my jacket and took off my shoes I sat next to him.
Rio:So?
Me:Beth is getting way in over her head, she's gonna break soon. Oh and they dont trust me
I sat back against the sofa staring at the ceiling.
Me:Girls I have known my whole life now don't trust me because I told them-
I looked at him

He was quiet.

He went to get up and I pulled him back down and he looked at me.
Me:She has 6 kids....dont let them see
He nodded and kissed me and left. I didn't sleep that night that morning came and I was drinking my coffee the door opened and Rio came in. He went to my drawer that I keep my cut in and he took my money.
Me:Uh what are you doing
Rio:Business is shut down

He turned so he was facing me and I set the bills on the counter and I went over to him and I slipped my hands in his coat and pulled him to me and I kissed him, passionately. It broke and I gazed in his eyes.

Rio's hard expression softened and he smiled.

He walked out and I kept a smile on my face. I spent the morning with my baby girl, then when Tina came around noon I got ready and I left to go find a job. I applied to a bunch of places and finally got hired at Costco. I started right away I worked from 1 until midnight. I got home that night and I got out of my car and a black car pulled up and out got Mario one of Rio's goons.

He never spoke to me so this was weird.
Me:what

I got in his car and we left we pulled up to this abandoned house.
