I left around noon for a doctors appointment because I've been having a lot of stomach pain. Almost like cramps but worse. I got there and walked into the room I sat on the table. The doctor came in.
Man:*smiles* Nice to meet you I'm Doctor Young and I hear your having some stomach pain tell me about it
Me:Yea well I have like this constant stomach pain in my lower stomach
Dr. Young:Okay any back pain
Me:a little
Dr. Young:Nausea?
Me:Sometimes
Dr. Young:light headedness
Me:yes
Dr. Young:Okay when was your last period
Me:uh 2 months ago
Dr. Young:Okay you missed one?
Me:Yeah but I've been under a lot of stress
Dr. Young:Right okay so I'm gonna take some blood, a urine sample and do some basic check up things
Me:Okay
So I peed in a cup gave it to him and he took my blood. He checked my pulse/heart rate, looked in my eyes and ear, checked for scoliosis, poked my belly checking for lumps or cysts normal stuff. He checked my height and weight and my blood pressure. After waiting for 20 minutes he came back in.
Dr. Young:Okay so the results are in, your bpm,blood pressure and lungs are normal and good. Everything else is good but I did figure out what the problem is.
Me:*smiles* great what is it
Dr. Young:Your pregnant
My heart sank as a rush of overwhelming feelings came over me, and tears rushed down my cheeks.
Me:What? Oh my god
Dr. Young:*smiles* Congratulations
He hugged me and I wiped my tears.
Dr. Young:I see on your file you have a little girl so I know you know how this works.
Me:Yeah yeah of course
Dr. Young:So this is for you
He gave me a little bag which had like baby things inside pamphlets, what to expect, what to do and take and not to take, what to drink and not drinks , eat and not eat etc. I left I unlocked my car and I got in setting the bag in the passenger seat and I called the girls to meet up with them at Beths. I got there and went in they were in the kitchen and I stood next to Annie.
Beth:whats up
Ruby:yeah whats the 911
Me:um... *sniffles*
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
Me:um....I-I'm pregnant
Annie:*smiles* what? Oh my god
Ruby:Is it Rio's
Me:of course
Beth:congrats boo
They all hugged me the hug broke and I wiped my tears.
Ruby:Have you told him yet
Me:No I just found out I wanted to tell you guys first
Beth:Baby number 2 how do you think he'll react
Me:I don't know, happy hopefully
Annie:What are you waiting for go tell him
Me:*smiles* Okay I'm going I'm going
I left I told Rio to meet me at the park. I pulled up and he was already there leaning against his car in the parking lot. I parked next to him and I got out and I went over to him and I hugged him immediately.
Rio:*smiles* what is up whichu ma
The hug broke but he kept his hands on my hips. I looked in his eyes.
Me:I'm gonna tell you something and I don't want you to get mad or anything
Rio:okay...
He trailed off confused.
Me:I just got back from the doctors *sniffles* and they did a whole bunch of tests. End of story I'm pregnant
His face lit up and he pulled me into a tight hug, it broke and he looked into my eyes.
Rio:Are you serious the doctor flat out told you your pregnant
Me:*smiles* Yes
He kissed me and hugged me again.
Rio:Why would I be mad
Me:I don't know with everything thats going on I just- I dont know
Rio:*smiles* this is amazing
This was one of the happiest moments in my life.....
