I told Riley how my conversation with my mom went and now he feels bad because he thinks it's his fault.

It techincally is because if he wouldn't have invited me this would have never happened but it doesn't really matter to me because there is no reason for her to be like this.

When my dad came home from work I decided to ask him

"Hey dad I have a question"

"Sure what is it"

"Do you think I could go to Florida for Christmas"

"Sure go ahead"

I could tell that he was being sarcastic so I just stared at him

"I'm being serious" I said after a minute

"How do you plan on getting there" he asked

"A plane" I answered

"You have never been on a plane you wouldn't know the first thing to do"

"That's why I would have the McDonoughs with me"

"You know Riley Connor and Toby"

"Oh you mean the boys that you spend every awake moment with"

"Pretty much"

"Why"

"Because these are 3 boys that I hardly know. You don't know what could happen"

"Well their parents are going too so what if you met them first"

"I will consider it but first I have to talk to your mom"

I thought I was actually getting somewhere until he mentioned talking to my mom. She is just going to tell him she said no and then I won't be able to go.
