French seemed to take forever to go by

"Have you met the new guys" my best friend Brooke asked me on our way to lunch

"Which ones" I questioned

"Riley and Connor"

"I've met Riley and Toby not Connor, they're really nice. Have you met Toby"

"No I didn't know there was a third one. I didn't even talk to them yet but they're in my painting class"

"Well Riley and Toby are in our lunch" I told her

"You should have them sit with us"

"Toby said he would"

By this time we had reached the cafeteria and sat down at our table. A couple of minutes later Riley and Toby walked in. I noticed they were looking all over the room so I called them over.

"Oh I must be blind" Riley chuckled "Hey you were in my last period" he said to Brooke

"Yeah. I'm Brooke" she said

"I'm Riley and this is my brother Toby its nice to meet you"

"Its nice to meet you too"

About that time Jessica walked over to our table

"You know you can come sit with me if you want Riley" she said winking at him

"Thanks but I'm going to stay here"

"Okay well if you change your mind my table always has an empty seat you can keep warm"

"Whore" Toby mumbled under his breath

I busted out laughing. Brooke rolled her eyes and went back to where she was sitting

"You're going to kill me Toby" I joked smacking him

"Ow" he yelled grabbing his arm

"Sorry" I quickly apologized

"I was just messing with you" he laughed

"She really is a whore though" Brooke spoke up

"She's weird too" Riley said

"She thinks just because she's pretty she can get whatever she wants" I exclaimed

"I think she wants Riley" Brooke whispered

"Well she ain't getting me. She's not my type and plus I've got my eye on someone else" Riley confirmed putting his arm on my shoulder

"Thanks I'm flattered but actually I'm taken" I told him
