1 what inspired the idea of your story?

A friend of mine brought up her idea and we developed it together to become something more complex.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

I struggled with descriptions.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

I enjoyed writing the drama and gore

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

That my story is really good but could use better work with showing an character's emotion than telling it but otherwise enjoying the idea

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

It is a piece of a series, there is a sequel and third book planned, as well as a prequel and short stories

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

take away?

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

Your story is how you wrote it, your readers aren't entitled to tell you where the story should go and what should happen. If your readers are unhappy with a scene or ending, oh well. Focus on where you want the story to go, not what your readers say

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

In a way she does, we're both emotional and very attached to our siblings but I'm mentally more capable than she is when it comes to serious situations.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

That it isn't a book of a disease or virus got to do with zombies, it is a unique virus that was made up and developed.

10 do you have any future projects?

I do. Planning on starting a fantasy I am excited for
