"you mean.....someone did this to you....on purpose?"

"that's crazy. who's out to get zion?" kyla said.

"i'm gonna have to talk to your parents and the police." i said walking out.

"guys, i think someone tried to murder zion." i said.

"who would do that?" keke asked.

i shrugged my shoulders.

kyla walked out of the room and closed the door.

"who is she?" elom asked.

"this is kyla. the girl who has a crush on zion-"

"had. nice to meet y'all." she said shaking their hands.

"what's up with y'all girls crushing on my big bro?" elom asked with his hands out.

"who's y'all? only one girl crushed on him." i said.

"you, blythe. you're the one that makes it "y'all".' he said.

Zion

i heard the whole conversation. of course, they think blythe likes me. i'm pretty sure everyone thinks she likes me.

what person would be out to get me? i know that i wasn't speeding. i'm good with everyone. everyone, but kyla. she hates my guts because she thought that i broke her and blythe up, but i don't think she would go THAT far. she's the only one that doesn't like me and to be honest, i don't like her either. i don't know why she came to visit me.

"hey." blythe came in.

"hey, beauty."

"looks like you haven't changed at all. still with those names huh?"

"can't get rid of me that easily."

she started talking about all this time without me. she talked about how someone made a rumor and then to how lost and depressed she was feeling. going on about how she really needed her mother for comfort, but of course, she wasn't there.

"i'm really sorry you had to go through that alone." i took her hand.

"you know, for someone i hate, you really do have an impact on me."

Blythe

"i heard your message...." he said softly.

"you could hear me?"

"yeah."

"oh....." i said a little embarrassed.

"it was cute. how you actually love me and care for me." he said with a goofy voice.

"shut up. you were in a coma and i know that's what you needed to hear."

"yo! we have to go home. we'll give you two girls a ride there?" keke asked.

she nodded and left the room.

i looked back at zion one more time.

i walked out of the hospital and into keke's car.

"God is good y'all."

"yeah." i said.

"so how was y'all alone time, blythe?" keke asked looking through the mirror.

"it was nice. he heard my message."

"what message?" kyla asked.

"i said that i loves him and cared for him and didn't hate him as much and stuff." i said looking out the window.

"yeah, i really dont." i said to myself.

"blythe?" kyla whispered.

"what?" i whispered back.

"you gotta tell zion that he was speeding. like does he really think someone would try to kill him? that's crazy."

"i believe what he says. he said he wasn't speeding."

"he just came out of a coma. he still could be completely out of it."

"kyla, what is up with you? you've been acting weird lately and i don't like it. why do you want zion to believe he was speeding so badly?" i asked.

"okay, we're here!" keke said stopping the car.

"i'll text you." kyla said stepping out of the car.

"what's that about?" keke asked.

we arrived at our houses and stepped out of the car.

"today was a good day." keke said.

"yes, it really was. we got zion back." i said tearing up.

"awh, you really love my brother."

"he's.....something else i guess.

i walked home and jumped on my bed.

today was full of emotion. i've never been so happy in my life. zion is apart of my life and i have finally choice to accept it. i care about that boy dearly and it would shatter me if he didn't wake up.
