I came out of the toilet changed to a Jeans and a baggy shirt my braids flowing down my back, my face make up free and body jewelry free

"I'm not going to miss you" Adnaan leaned on the wall beside the mirror as I cleansed my face discarding the cotton ball in the trash beside him and he took my off guard dragging me to him our upper bodies touching his hands placed on my hips

"I'm serious fah, I'm not going to miss you so better don't start missing me because I can already see it in your eyes that you're already missing me even before I'm gone"

"Do you want me to miss you?" He raised a brow and I saw where he was going to making me chuckle shaking my head

"No I don't want to miss you Adnaan"

"well if you want me to miss you, I just have to kiss you, see what I did there?"

I swear this man is high on something

"You're high on kushhh" I rolled my eyes dragging out the 'shh'

"Let me show you how to miss me" he raised his brows cupping my face he placed his lips on mine sealing the deal making my knees buckle as his hands gripped my waist supporting me as my hands made way to his hair

The door was suddenly opened and Barira entered she gasped and hissed making me pull back immediately shifting back but Adnaans hand on my waist kept me firmly to him

"This isn't your house where you can barge in anytime" I eyed her and she was still standing in the doorway like a fool staring at Adnaan

"Bamalli!" She called and moved towards us as Adnaan pulled away "Barira?"

She gripped his Biceps and kept muttering 'it's really you', I felt like slapping her shitless because she just barged in and now she's touching my property

Adnaan politely removed her hands as he stared at her, I was still zoned out my mind somewhere as I stared at them, he didn't say anything to her tho

"Noor?" Adnaan called "I'm going to leave now, goodnight and take care of yourself" he hugged me placing a lingering but cold kiss on my forehead and he left

"So it's really this Adnaan you married to, you had to go for him, lallai Khadija" she eyed me and hissed leaving the room I was just so confused

What happened between them that he just left, Adnaan could never leave like that, he just left and without a word

I quickly reached for my phone and called him but it was unreachable, I dialed hameeds number and he picked

"Hameed is Adnaan out?" I asked because he was still outside with Fatima "yes fah he just left, he didn't speak to me sha"

I went downstairs and met Barira speaking to Fatima and fuming about something and Halima wasn't there

I showed them their rooms when they arrived because Fatima and Halima are to stay in our first guest room and the other Fatima and Barira In the other room

And Adnaan ordered food, he ordered Fries and burgers from downtown and milkshakes too then chicken and beef kebab from Charcoal grill and pizza from Galaxy

"Barira!" I called and she turned, I was beyond angry I'm furious

"How dare you barge into my room like that and all that, what was that about?" My voice came out surprisingly calm which surprised me a lot

"How can I not get lost in such a big house, I guess it's Adnaan Bamalli that owns it right, Abuja's most elite bachelor till he was married to you apparently, and all that I think it's better we leave the things in the past in the past"

Barira was family but I never expected her to be like this "I mean how did you even get someone like him, and if your dying curios then we actually used to have something before and the rest he will tell you" she shrugged staring at her nails pissing me off more

"Shut up Barira I'm not done talking, this is my house and Adnaan is my husband I'm not going to be involved in any children's play with you so please.." I finished and Fatima entered looking confused

"Get out of my house!" I barked and she was shocked, I haven't been this angry in a long time

"What?" She asked perplexed "Fatima give me your phone, wallahi you're joking with me" I collected fatimas phone and opened it dialin gn Anty Hassana's phone

"By Allah you're joking with me, I'm going to call your aunt and narrate everything tunda kin maida mutane wawayyu, you will come to my house and be throwing stupid empty threats"

I cut the call but still stared at her "is it because his managing to keep you under his roof, Golddigger"

"Kema kiyi auren" I eyed her "as I said better enjoy it while it lasts because you will soon leave all this luxury you're leaving and go back to your fathers house, oh it's slipped my mind that he..."

She didn't finish her sentence when my palm made contact with her cheek, the sound resonating through the parlor as she stood there shocked

"Get out of my house Barira I won't repeat myself, don't anger me more" my voice was light but strong

"Noor calm down you don't have do this" Fatima spoke beside me, she hasn't said anything since she stepped in till now and the other Fatima stood by the corner shell-shocked

"Barira go to your room, I'm not going to beg her not to hold herself just that you should stay so keep whatever pride you have aside and go upstairs" Fatima warned and the other Fatima dragged her hand as she snatched it

"You slapped me koh Noor, lallai kina ruwa wallahi"

Fatima took me outside to the backyard and Halima joined us asking what happened because she kind of overheard Barira calling her mother saying stuff

"What did she say?" Fatima asked "she was saying that Noor slapped her because she told you that Adnaan will be yours and stuff"

"She's drinking something" Fatima hissed and I kept mum, staring into empty space and i shook my head

"Subhanallah like one Indian film, this Barira does not have sense fahh" after Fatima narrated for her what happened making me chuckle

"What do you think she's talking about?" I asked Fatima and she shook her head "she's just taking I'm sure, Adnaan has nothing to do with her and I'm sure it wasn't something serious between them"

"I'm coming" Fatima excused herself and went to the kitchen

"Noor please don't disturb yourself she's just saying Rubbish, she's just jealous of you and him because maybe when she saw you some feelings sparked in her and she caught you in such a compromising position so it vexed her that she wasn't the one and you guys are just so cute, wallah you guys are just always my couple crush, the album in your phone of you guys's photos is just making me feel like getting married"

I laughed and hugged her as Fatima came back "Adnaan said he's on his way"

"Did you tell him?"

"No! He told hameed to ask me how you are and I told hameed that things didn't end well and he's almost here seff"
