"Noor, we're going now they may be here" Anty Farida said as they all hugged me and Amna and the three were the last

"We'll miss you baby" Ummulkhair hugged me and they all did as we got in tears "dont go!" My voice was barely a whisper as they all shook their heads "babes, I wish we could in this big and lovely house but we sadly can't"

"We have to go" Anty Farida and ya Rahma said and we nodded as they sat me on the bed wishing me the best

I was clueless what to do when they left so I got up and walked to the closet, if I wanted this marriage I'd be ecstatic that I literally had a walk-in closet

I chose a blue gown and entered the toilet having a warm bath, I came out and went to the vanity spritzing a bit of Victoria's Secrets

Tasneem and Amna say it's Iyayi to spray perfume before sleeping but Maama is the person that does it so I copied her now anytime I had a bath I sprayed light perfume

I turned and a figure was on the bed making my eyes go wide with both fear and shock, I think he noticed my presence but decided to use his phone

"Salam Alaikum" his voice came, it was deep but not scary deep making me look up at him "get ready we're praying"

I went into the closet and spotted the hijab and sallaya cause Anty Farida explained, stepping out he was on another Sallaya as he stood on it

After praying he left the room without even folding his Sallaya

How rude!

I walked to the closet and brought out the Qur'an Maama gave me as a wedding gift along with a silver charm bracelet with diamond droppings

Immediately I sat down my phone began to ring and it was an Unknown number so I picked it thinking it was well wishers

"Salam Alaikum?" I said when I picked up "Waalaikumus Salam my daughter" my breath hitched at the person more like the Voice

"My dear Noor, I heard you got married and I wasn't there and, I'm so sorry Noor" he plead and I spoke up my voice gruff "No problem, good evening"

"How are you? And who is the lucky guy" he chuckled, his laugh, his voice everything was all the same, I wanted to badly tell him that he was such a jerk for leaving but no matter what was in my mind, he is still my Father

"Noor?"

"Yes Abba"

"Amina wants to talk to you"

"Sure"

"Ina uni" I greeted when I heard a females voice "Lafiya Noor, how are you and the family, congratulations dear" she chirped "thank you, I'm fine"

After the greeting and the congratulations Abba collected the phone "thank you Noor and I'm sorry"

"Goodnight Abba" I cut the call before he could say anything that would make me cry, I kept the phone feeling the tears pooling

My silent sobs couldn't be heard as I carried the Qur'an and pouring my heart out to my rabb

I kept tossing and turning mainly cause I couldn't sleep and I was hungry despite me eating in the car on our way here

The baby in me keeps making me hungry after every two to three hours, I'm almost my third month which is 10 weeks and I had a slight bump

I mustered up the courage to go downstairs and got up wrapping my head wrap and quietly opened the door

I switched on the light of the kitchen, it was breathtaking with large space and whatnot themed grey and black

I walked to the store getting a pack of Cous Cous cause to be honest that's what I was craving, I got the pot out and parboiled it in the meantime cutting the vegetables which was only pepper and onions and a bit of garlic

I boiled two eggs and served it with my pepperish yum yum which was a bit soupy as I sat on one of the island stools and dug in with my glass of water beside me

I was almost done when I looked up and someone was staring at me making me shriek, this man keeps sneaking up on me, I quietly continued eating my food when he strolled to the fridge to get a bottle of water and then he turned to me

"Aren't newly weds like not supposed to cook or something?" He asked raising a brow and I looked at him surprised he actuallynsaid something and what he asked made me inwardly chuckle

"No, it's just tradition and when she is hungry in the middle of the night she has to" I rambled the last part and he chuckled "I'm Adnaan"

"I already know that" I rolled my eyes and he kept the almost finished bottle on the island as he peeked at my food

"Please can you get me a bottle of water?" He asked and I looked at his bottle then to him "this one is bitter"

I stood up and when I turned I gasped and that's when my spoon hit back the plate and I gasped, he is just like Fatima, hungry and annoying

"Well done! You could've just asked you know" I rolled my eyes and he winked "yes please but with less pepper, how can you eat this!" He exclaimed

I quickly fixed him a bit more than mine, I sat to finish mine before his is done and it was half empty in the quantity I left it

"I'm going to hit you!" I glared at him and he raised his hands in surrender "yeash!"

I hate to admit but you never come between a hungry pregnant woman and her food, despite my stomach not being gigantic I was still hungry now and then

I served his in a plate and a spoon pushing it to him when he reached out I dragged it back and ate three spoons and smiled before passing it back as he rolled his eyes and muttered a 'thank you'

I swear this guy was the exact version of Fatima just a male version

I finished mine and washed my plate chugging up the remaining water in the glass and washed it then kept it on the rack to dry

"Goodnight" I murmured and he hummed in response, his mind was totally not on what I said so I went upstairs and found a warm spot on the bed and read about two chapters of 'Marley meets Josh' and then played the sound that always lulled me to sleep which is rain drops from an app called calm

Then later played Baqara and completely slept, peacefully and also nightmareless

Salam Alaikum *peeps in and waves* hey hey hey today Is Astaghfirullah full of food, I woke up today in the morning and happily opened the fridge to just stare and close it then skip to my room and munch on either raw cereal 🥣 or drink hot, lovely tea ☕️❤️
