My phone beeped indicating a message and I dusted my hands with a random rag and checked it

Adnaan- Get ready by 8

I sighed and brought out the cupcakes from the oven to cool as I removed the Apron and tidied the kitchen a bit, I have about an hour and so I quickly had a shower

I checked the time and I had about twenty minutes more cause I stopped to mix the icing, I quickly rushed downstairs to the kitchen and started icing the cupcakes in a swirly way then sprinkled colorful chocolate sugar

I arranged the banana, chocolate chip and vanilla/coconut cupcakes in the 4x5 box , I made cupcakes for Nafias mum, Kareema and Ummi cause Adnaan told me we'll be going there but I don't know wether we'll be going to Kareemas house

It's been a week since Adnaan stopped talking to me and muna left a day before yesterday, she was really nice and all and also very helpful cause I've been having serious cramps at this level

Reaching up for the tape for the box, I put a small stool standing on it for height dragging it down my towel loosened almost falling but was stopped

I opened an eye to see what held it but even if I was sleeping I know this scent, clouding my head I held it my hands going over his, his hot breath fanning my neck making the hairs on my neck stand

The temperature suddenly got high, goosebumps rising on my skin, he slid his hands and I adjusted it turning forgetting I was on a stool I fell waiting for the impact but it never came

I opened my eyes again I was being held up, one hand was by my waist and one holding up my towel, my wet braids around his shoulder and chest

I sucked in a breath and thanked him my voice lost, I looked up he was looking at me with this stupid hard glare

I broke the stare and quickly walked past him and hurriedly went upstairs to change

I got ready in black straight skirt and a peppa pig shirt with a grey open Abaya with black lacy flowers at the edges down

Doing the necessary I packed up things I needed, stuffing them in my bag and my phone then walked downstairs to pick up the boxes

The door was opened by a maid and I greeted her as we passed her to the parlor and Imaan hugged me collecting the box of cupcakes and she pecked my cheek

"Hamma Adnaan Ina Uni" she smiled and he nodded "Ummi is in her room, she said you guys should come in" Imaan ushered as she went to keep the box in the kitchen

"Ummi, Ina Uni" I greeted as she hugged me and kissed my forehead, I've been yearning for a loving touch

"You look pale " she called and I chuckled "Ummi it's okay I just haven't been feeling well"

"Have you guys gone to the hospital?" She looked at Adnaan and I nodded "Adnaan why are you so quiet?" Ummi raised a brow and smiled

"Nothing fah Ummi, we came to greet you" he smiled assuringly then got back to his phone "is he okay?" She quietly asks and I nod

"Ummi Adnaan has been nothing but supportive to me and for that thank you" I smiled and she nodded kissing my forehead

"Should I send for food?"

"No Ummi it's okay, and we'll get going" Adnaan stood up and i followed "thank you Ummi and I brought cupcakes, they are downstairs" I smiled and she grinned, nodding
