Flu shot

(Ali's POV)

"Ali wake up."

"Ali we have to go to the doctor today."

I opened my eyes and daddy was sitting at the end of my bed.

"C'mon baby we have to go to the doctor." Daddy said reaching his hands out.

"But I'm not sick." I said. Daddy carried me over to my closet and he picked out a flower pattern shirt and jeans with tennis shoes. Daddy pulled my hair up and we went down stairs.

"Is she ready?" Uncle Niall asked.

"Ready for what?" I asked as daddy sat me down on the counter.

"Me and you are getting our flu shots today." Daddy said.

"A shot?" I asked about to cry.

"Trust me Ali it doesn't hurt." Uncle Liam said.

I wiped my eyes and daddy grabbed me a coat.

"It won't be too bad, your a tough girl." Daddy said putting my coat on.

"We will see you guys later." Daddy said. We walked out and daddy put me in my car seat.

"Daddy I don't want too." I cried as soon as daddy started driving.

"Baby it's not going to hurt I promise." He said.

~doctors office~

(Louis' POV)

"Louis and Ali Tomlinson." The nurse said. Ali dropped her toys and we walked into room seven.

"The doctor will be with you shortly." She smiled and walked out.

"Daddy please don't make do this." Ali whimpered.

"How about if I go first and show you how easy it is will you be a big girl for me?" I asked.

She nodded and I sat next to her on the table.

Knock knock

The doctor opened the door and said, "Flu shots?"

"No." Ali mumbled. I rubbed her back and the nurse came in with two needles.

"Who is first?" The nurse asked.

"Daddy!" Ali said pointing at me. "Yeah, me."

The nurse sat her tray right next to me and wiped my arm with rubbing alcohol then got a band aid ready.

The nurse pushed the needle into my arm injecting the medicine then took it out and put a band aid over it.

"See Ali, it doesn't hurt." I smiled.

"Well daddy you have a big arm I don't." She huffed.

"Oh come on be a big girl." I said.

"Ready Ali?" The nurse said.

She shook her head no and I held her hand.

Ali took off her jacket and looked up at me in terror.

"What arm do you want it to be in?" The nurse asked me.

"Left." I said. I got up and went to her right side and held her hand.

The nurse rubbed her arm with the little alcohol pad and Ali closed her eyes.

The nurse poked Ali with the needle and Ali screamed I'm pain.

"Ouch! Stop!" She screamed.

"Ssshh." I said squeezing her hand.

The nurse removed the needle from her arm and gave Ali a pink band aid.

"You guys are ready to go!" The nurse smiled. I nodded and Ali was still crying.

"Ali you did so good." I said cooing her.

I signed us out and I sat her down so she could calm down.

"It hurts." She cried.

"I know baby, it will but you did so good."

She reached for me and I carried her back to the car.

"Are you hungry? You didn't eat this morning." I said pulling into McDonalds.

"I want nuggets and apples." She said.

"Can I get a please in that statement?" I asked looking back at her.

"Daddy can I please have nuggets and apples?" She said reaching toward me.

I nodded and I ordered Ali her food.

~home~

Ali ran inside as I sat down on the couch.

"How was it?"

"Not too bad, she cried but she is okay." I explained.

"Daddy let's play!" She yelled from upstairs.

"I've been summoned." I laughed.

~8:30~

"Ali time for bed." I said carrying her into her bedroom.

She laid down and looked at her arm.

"Is your arm sore?" I asked she nodded and I kissed it and she smiled.

"Night baby."

"Night daddy." She said kissing my nose. I turned off the light and closed the door.
