"I have so much work to do." I whined.

"To bad." She said as she opened the bottle and brought it to her lips. "Selena. Take a break. Your eyes are going to fall out of your head. You've been staring at the screen for hours. Everyone else went home hours ago."

"You're still here." I pointed out.

"Because you're still here."

"Fine." I sighed.

I watched as she got comfortable on the couch and beckoned for me to join her.

"Get your ass over here." She commanded.

I joined her on the couch and took a long drink from the bottle. I grimaced as I handed it back to her.

"I'm exhausted." I sighed.

"Then go home."

"Thank you captain obvious." I teased, poking her in the ribs. "It's just..."

"Big empty house?" She interrupted.

"How did you know?"

"I know things." She grinned.

"Yeah. It's weird. I'm still getting used to it."

"Invite Demi over. She'd be more than happy to make you feel more relaxed."

I responded by punching her arm. "Stop it!" I laughed.

"It's true." She chuckled. "I don't know what you're waiting for."

"There's nothing there. We're friends."

"Bullshit."

"Oh really?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yup. I call bullshit." She said again before taking another drink of the liquor.

"I'm not...I mean I can't right now. Even if that were a possibility. I'm just not there."

"Explain."

"I need time for myself. I need to heal. I don't want to be defined by another relationship. I'ts too much."

"Who says you have to be in relationship? Be causal."

"I can't. Not with her."

"Why?"

"I just don't do casual."

"You said you can't do it with her, which implies you'd do with anyone but her."

"That's not what I meant." I said slightly annoyed.

"Then what did you mean?" She questioned.

"Jamie..."

"Quit avoiding the question. Tell me. I already know but I want you to say it. I think you need to say it."

"No. I'm not going to." I said shaking my head. "You told me to stay away from her anyway the night I found about Nick."

"I changed my mind." She smirked as she handed me the Jack Daniels.

"Well I haven't." I said before taking a drink.

"Selena..." She sighed. "You need to get laid."

Once again I laughed then grabbed a throw pillow and hit her with it. "Stop it!"

"Demi knows how to fuck." She grinned, sticking out her tongue and laughing.

"You did not just say that." I chuckled.

"I did." She said nodding her head. "I said it."

"Does she?" I asked shyly.

"Yes." Jamie smiled. "She does."
