I Hate It When You See Me Cry

Two weeks later vacation ended and we were landing in Amsterdam. Everyone was refreshed and ready to go. Demi spent the flight flirting with stewardesses and joking around with everyone. Johnny got drunk and everyone else slept or listened to music.

When we finally landed we immediately went to the hotel and got ready to go out for the night.

"Are you sure you don't want to come?" I asked Nick as I applied lipstick. "You hardly do anything anymore."

"I just don't feel like it Sel. I'm tired and I want to relax." He said before letting out a heavy sigh.

"You're missing out." I said shaking my head.

"I'm sure I'll survive."

I resisted the urge to pick a fight with him. He'd become very closed off recently and uninterested in everyone around him, including me.

"Don't wait up." I said before walking out the door.

He didn't bother saying goodbye.

I met Demi, Johnny, Joe and Brian, Demi's guitar tech, downstairs in the bar as requested. I pulled up a chair at their table and laughed. The entire thing was covered with pint after pint of Guinness and several shots of Jaegermeister. It was insane.

"I'd ask what y'all are doing, but I guess it doesn't take rocket science." I joked.

"Shoot the moon?" Joe asked once I was settled.

Everyone nodded and grabbed a beer. Demi passed a shot to everyone and we simultaneously dropped the shots into the beers and chugged. I grimaced as I slammed my glass on the table. It was going to be a long night.

We drank beer after beer and shot after shot. Eventually everyone was completely drunk. We were loud and obnoxious and we didn't give a fuck about anything. It felt good to let loose and shed all the stress.

"Take another shot." Demi demanded playfully. Her speech was slow and slurred.

"I can't." Brian frowned. "I can't fit anymore."

"Don't be a pussy. Do it." She continued to tease the guitar tech before taking a long drink from a beer.

"No way." He grimaced.

"Take another shot!" She demanded with a laugh.

Joe and Johnny laughed as Brian tried to fight off her peer pressure. They knew she'd win eventually.

I watched as she climbed onto the table and rolled off onto the floor, still holding a shot of jaeger. She knocked over several beers and broke a glass in the process. I couldn't help but laugh. She continued to badger Brian until he finally caved and took another shot. I thought he was going to puke.

"You're a champion." She smiled as she gave him a high five.

"Why's Nick being such a fuckboy lately?" Johnny asked with a smirk.

I shrugged. I was completely disinterested in talking about Nick.

"Who knows." I slurred.

"He's on his period." Joe cut in.

"What else is new." Demi said rolling her eyes.

"Fuck him." Joe said as she shook his head. "He's got a pole up his ass anyway."

Demi got up off the floor and signaled for me to get out of my chair. I did as she asked then settled into her lap when she sat in the seat I had previously occupied.

"He is a fuckboy." I said frowning.

"You would know. You're the one that's fucking him." Johnny said with a yawn.
