2 months later

"Are you sure you want to make this decision?" Mia asked me as we sat in the chair

"I'm positive." I said and rolled my eyes

I have my reasons now and I had them then.

Nothing is going to change my mind, not even seeing his face at this very moment will.

**Flashback to 1 month earlier**

After that night at his house we haven't talked since. I think he got the picture that I was done with him when I slammed his car door and told him to delete my number.

I've been thinking about him daily though. I hate that I have, I hate that he has been crossing my mind. For someone that has done me so cold, the thought of him doesn't even deserve to share a brain with my other daily thoughts.

You have to be a special kind of ain't shit for you go do an entire case based around a guy that has done me dirty and shitted on me a million times, cheated me and stole from me, downplayed me in the lowest way possible, just for you turn around and do me the same way— but differently.

Ugh.

Mia: Let's go to the mall... you need to get out the house.
4:24 PM

I don't wanna leave the house.
4:25 PM

Mia: Too late, I'm already out here.
4:27 PM

I rolled my eyes and stomped to the door. I opened the door for her and sat back on the couch.

"Girl, if you don't get on some damn clothes." She said

"I don't wanna leave the house."

"That has been your favorite line for... some weeks now." She said and rolled her eyes

"And it's still my favorite." I said and pulled the cover over me

"I don't understand why you're so unmotivated to leave the house." She said

"What do you mean you don't know why? I have nothing to do. No firms are calling me back, no businesses are accepting my offers... I'm starting to lose hope."

"You're your worst enemy, apply yourself. Apply yourself in aspects you've never thought you'd be in. I'm not saying throw yourself at men or anything, but be a bit more flamboyant." She said

I shrugged, "I guess you're right. I could've thought of that." I said and pushed my cover back

"So, you're coming to the mall with me?" She smiled

"Yeah, I guess I will." I said and shrugged

"I've been starving all day, are there any pretzel places around the mall?"

"Pretzels? You hate pretzels."

"I said the same thing, but I want some cinnamon covered pretzels like.. really bad so, yeah." I shrugged

She raised an eyebrow, "Okay...well I think there is a pretzel place over there." She said

Great!

I got dressed in anything, literally, pulled my hair in a ponytail, grabbed what I need and walked out behind Mia.

The first place we hit was the pretzel place, and after that I did a bit of shopping. Shopping is indeed therapeutical and I don't know why I denied coming out to do it at first.

"I don't feel too well." I said and sat down at the nearest bench

"What's wrong?"

"I think I had too many damn pretzels." I chuckled
