Later that night Nick arrived back home, he decided to head up to bed. He trudged his way up the stairs, he tried his best not to wake anyone. Once he reached the room he walked inside, he spotted Miya sitting on the bed reading. A smile came to his face. "Hey baby" Nick walked over kissing her on the head. "I'm going to have a shower, I'll be back in a few" he said.

Miya smiled once she felt his lips on her head. "I'll be here waiting" she said before reading her again.

Nick pulled off his coat and laid it across the chair, he sat down and kicked off his shoes. He had a long day, he didn't tell Miya about what happened. That was the one thing her and him agreed on, not telling the business he was doing. He got up off the bed and made his way towards the bathroom. He reached in turning the shower on, he let it get hot before getting in.

The hot water started to hit his back, he placed his hands against the wall thn closed his eyes. The images of later that day came to his mind, he didn't want to do it but there was no other option. He shook it off the opened his eyes back up, he began to wash himself up. After a while he finished up, then shut the water off.

He moved the shower curtain back then reached over grabbing a towel, he stepped out wrapping it around his waist. He made his way out the bathroom, he walked over to his side of the bed and took a seat. "Love are you alright?" he asked.

Miya placed down the book, she leaned over wrapping her arms around Nick. His hair and body were still little damped but she didn't mind. "I'm fine but are you alright? That's what I should be asking" she kissed his neck. She pulled away slightly rubbing his shoulders. "You seem more tense" she said.

"It's just work, nothing I can't handle" Nick said. He took her hand then brought it up to his lips, kissing it softly. "What did the doctor say? Can we proceed with the wedding?" he asked.

"Actually everything is good and she said it's alright to do the wedding long as I don't get all stressed from it" Miya said.

Nick chuckled nodding his head. "So we're we're really doing this?" he asked.

"That we are" Miya said. She pulled away then laid back on the bed, she looked as Nick stood up.

He went over taking out some clothing, he knew Miya was staring at him. "Are you getting a good look?" Nick asked.

"I definitely am" she replied with a chuckle.

Nick shook his head, he slipped on his clothes then went back to the bed. He got under the blankets and cuddle against Miya. He wrappd his arm around her. "I wish I could have you right now" he whispered.

"Oh, I know you do" Miyss chuckled. "But Nick don't forget we have cake tasting tomorrow at noon"
She kissed his lips, it only lasted a second which caused him to groan. "Good night" Miya said.

"I would never forget it" Nick replied. "Night my love" Nick aadded as he closed his eyes drifting off to sleep.

The next morning Miya was actually in a good mood, she made her way out the bathroom to see Nick still asleep. She was happy he was there, it seemed like he was working all the time and that worried her. She grabbed her robe then wrapped it around her body, she then made her way out the door then downstairs.

When she entered the kitchen Reece was making breakfast. "Want some?" he looked up.

"No, I'll just have some toast aand possibly water" Miya said. "That's if I can hold it down" she aadded.

Reece nodded his head, his eyes caught the others walking in. "Breakfast is served" his voice chimed through the kitchen.

"Is there pancakes?" Ell asked.

Reece simply nodded.

The girl giggled then made her way towards the table, as did the others. While everyone enjoyed their breakfast Nick's phoned was blowing up.

He rubbed his face as he started open his eyes. "It's too early" he muttered then yawned. He reached over grabbing his phone, he opened one of his eyes.

It was Phoenix "this better be good, I have a day off today" he said annoyed.

"I know but we have a problem with the shipment. They won't let our guys through" he sighed through the phone.

Nick could hear the cranes and crates in the background, the birds chippering. "You have to figure this out" Nick said. "What are you going to do when I'm on my honeymoon?" he asked.

"You're right, I will take care of this enjoy your day" Phoenix said.

Nick replieed then hung up the phone, he muttered something before rolling over in bed. He had decided to fall back to sleep until it was time for them to taste wedding cake.

Few hours later Nick felt himself being woken up, he groaned and shifted a little. "Five more minutes" he muttered. Nick was pretty much exhausted because the late nights he had been pulling.

"No, it's cake tasting time" Miys said. She went over to the closet grabbing some clothes, she tossed it on him. "Get your butt up" she spoke again.

Nick sat up in the bed, his eyes slowly opened. "I'm up love" he said as he pulled the blanket back. He got out of bed, the cold floor connected with his feet. He slowly moved his feet towards the bathroom.

"You're being so dramatic" Miya did an eye roll. Once he was in the bathroom Miya sat there on the bed thinking about how her life changed so quickly, she glanced down rose colored ring. It caused her to smile a little, she was marrying the man she loved in a few days, having his baby, in the process of looking for their permanent home. Life was amazing, what could possibly go wrong?
