Couple of weeks had gone by and everything was hectic. Everyone except Reece and Ell because she was too young, was getting ready for Mark's funeral, it was a sad day for his friends, family, girlfriend and children. Miya was waiting down in living room for Nick to come down. He was taking it the hardest, he had blamed himself for what happened but she constantly told him none of this was his fault.

Nick was finally making his way down, she looked up at him. His face expression was blank. "Let's go" was all he said. Some many emotions were coursing through him.

Miya got up she walked over to him, she grabbed his hand. She wanted to reassure him that she was there for him. They soon headed out the door, made their way towards Miya's car.

The ride seemed long, no one spoke a word the whole ride. Miya looked out the window, she watched the passing cars. She never thought she'd be here, if someone would  have told her few years back the girl would have laughed it off. They were finally at the funeral service, a lot of people were there. She didn't think Mark had that many friends. She didn't know Mark that well, met him twice but he seemed like a humble guy.

Once the car had stopped Miya and the others got out. She waited to the side for Nick and Mykie. She stared at the people walking by crying, giving his girlfriend and kids their  condolences. Miya had thought about dying a couple of times, hell she even came close to it at one point. She wondered would people truly shed tears or just pretend? Would Nick find someone else if she suddenly died? These were the types of things she wondered. She spotted Mark's girlfriends now standing alone with her children. "I'll be back" Miya pulled away from Nick. "Hi, I'm sorry about your boyfriend" she said.

The girlfriend wiped her tears away, she looked up at Miya. "Thank you, we're going to miss him dearly" she said. "You must be Nick's girlfriend" the woman added.

"Yes, he's very upset about what happened as well" Miya said. "He's been taking this very hard, he blames himself for what happened" she added.

"I know he is" the woman gave her a small smile. She reached over grabbing Miya's hand. "Nick is a good man, I don't blame him for what happened to Mark. I knew what I was getting into when I started dating him. This life..." she paused a moment. "Isn't for everyone, once you're in that's it. But personally I wouldn't change this life for anything" she said. She let go of Miya's hand, then looked around. "I should get going, it's starting soon" the woman said. She grabbed her children then walked away towards the others.

Miya soon felt someone come up behind her, she turned to look up at Nick. "Hey, let's get going" she said taking his hand into her.

They walked over to the service, the preacher began to talk. Miya would glance up at Nick from time to time, she started to wonder what he was thinking or even feeling. When it was finally over Miya stood back while Nick socialized with the people, he hugged Mark's girlfriend.

After everything was finally done, he walked over to Miya. "Hey, I wanted to let you know. I'm going with the guys, they kinda forced me into this" he said. He took the keys out handing then to her. "I want you both to go straight back to the house" he said. "Mykie I'll see if I can go by the apartment to get your music box" Nick looked over at her.

The reason Nick and them couldn't go back to the house was because the German people had found out where they lived. These people tore their home apart, Reece was kind enough to let them stay since he works out of town a lot.

Mykie nodded her head, she started to make her way towards the car.

"Be safe" Miya leaned up giving Nick a kiss. She then made her way towards the car. She unlocked it for Mykie, once she reached the car she got inside. Miya let out a shaky sigh, she had been feeling sick for a week.

"Are you okay?" Mykie asked. She reached over placing a hand on Miya's forehead, she had earned her first aid kit in a class outside of school. "You're burning up" she said. Mykie unbuckled her seatbelt, she was getting ready to get out. "I'm going to get Nick" she said.

Miya stopped her, she placed a hand on Mykie. "I promise you, I'm fine. It's just a small fever" Miya said. "Don't get him, I'll go home and get some rest" she added.

Mykie nodded her head, she placed her seatbelt back on. "If anything else happens, I'm calling Nick" she said.

"Of course" Miya started up the car and began to drive home.

After a few minutes they finally arrived home, Miya had decided to kick her shoes off. As she got out the car she became dizzy but shrugged it off. Seconds later her stomach began sick, she rushed over to a bush and started throwing up.

Mykie had noticed, she walked over to Miya. "Are you alright? Maybe we should take you to the emergency room" she suggested.

Miya stopped puking, she got up and turned to look at Mykie. "I'm fine" she wiped her mouth. Soon as she started walking again, her knees went weak and vision started to go blurry. After that everything went black, Miya fell to the ground.

Mykie stood there in shock, flashes of that fateful night came flooding back to her. She glanced over to see Ell lying next to Miya, she closed her eyes. "No!" she yelled.

Luckily Reece had heard the commotion which caused him to go outside. To his surprised he seen Miya lying there while Mykie stood there with her eyes closed. Reece was use to these types of situations. He quickly got his phone getting ready to call an ambulance but stopped himself, he walked over to Miya picking her up. He knew the ambulance wad going to take forever so he decided to take her himself. He placed her in tbe back of his car. He walked over to Mykie, he placed both hands on her arms. "Mykie look at me" Reece spoke in a soft tone.

Mykie slowly opened up her eyes, she stared into Reece brown eyes. "I'm sorry" she said. "It's just these flashbacks and-and-I-..." she couldn't get the words out.

"It's alright, I'm taking Miya to the hospital" he said. "Get in there and watch Ell, I will call you both if anything happens" Reece added.

Mykie nodded her head, she walked inside the house. She was still a bit shaky, she didn't know if she should call Nick or not. He already had enough stress in his life now this would add on top of it. Mykie knew if she didn't, Nick would probably get upset with her. She pulled her phone out then sent a text to Nick. ~Miya is at the hospital, she fainted when we arrived home. But don't worry Reece is with her~ after Mykie sent the text she began to cry, she felt someone sit next to her. It was Ell, the small child started to hug her. Soon Miya's dog Princess showed up, she got on the sofa cuddling to Mykie.
