Ilang minuto na siguro akong nakatitig sa phone ko. I can't decide whether I will text Yanna for an apology or just let it pass. I felt guilty, actually. Lalo lang lumala 'yung nararamdaman kong bigat nang maalala ko ang nakaraan.

She's right. History really repeats itself. Back then, I was in love with Yanna so much and there's Amrei, loving me as well, even though she knew that my heart belonged to Yanna and I can't give 'us' a chance.

Now, the situation has been flipped. 'Yung taong mahal na mahal ko noon ay pinipilit ko nang mag-move on mula sa 'kin ngayon. Kung anong ginagawa ko kay Amrei noon ang siya kong ginagawa kay Yanna ngayon.

I sighed and started to type a message for her.

Hey. I'm apologizing for the rude words I have said to you day ago. I didn't mean to. Still friends?

The very next day since I texted Yanna, she asked me out for dinner. Now, I am currently dressing up 'cause she will fetch me at 6:00 pm here at my house. May alam daw kasi siyang lugar dito na sa pagkawari niya'y hindi pa nakikita ng iba. I'm the first person she'll bring to her so-called haven. Siya na raw bahala sa lahat e, so I'm not worrying about it.

At uunahan ko na kayo, hindi ako pumayag na ilabas niya ako bilang isang taong minamahal niya. This date is just a friendly date. Nilinaw ko na sa kaniya 'yon. Kung saan-saan pa kami napunta dahil dito.

"You're asking me out?" hindi makapaniwala kong tanong habang nakatungo lamang si Yanna. Dahan-dahan siyang tumango at sinalubong ang tingin ko.

"It's not bad, isn't it?" she asked back, staring at me. "We're just gonna eat in the place I'm going to bring you."

"Asking me out means you want to date me." I stated. "Don't tell me I'm wrong, Piarre."

"That's right." she nodded. "I am indeed asking you to date me." my expressions left my face the moment she said those words. What's happening to my goal? Is it really working? "But don't get me wrong, ba-Ash." Yanna paused as she cleared her throat. "Friendly date lang."
